Jesse Williams Objects Ex-Wife’s New $200K Request

Jesse Williams still has ongoing drama between himself and his ex-wife. As previously reported Jesse and Aryn Drake-Lee have been battling in court and it’s been messy and LUCRATIVE–at least for one of them. A judge previously ruled that Williams will have to hand over $270,000 in legal fees to Aryn as well as $50,629 in monthly child support. (SHEESH) He previously petitioned to have the support lowered but was denied.

Now it looks like Aryn would like more money from her actor ex.

E! News reports that Drake-Lee requested that the court order Williams pay her lawyer $100,000. Not only that, Drake-Lee requested the court order Williams to pay $110,000 for the forensic accounting in their ongoing case.

That apparently pissed the Greys Anatomy actor off because he clapped back legally with a petition and a stern statement from his lawyers.

The 37-year-old star’s attorneys filed an objection in Los Angeles this week, asking the court to deny Drake-Lee’s request. He also not so subtly hinted that she’s been freeloading.

In documents obtained by The Blast, Williams states that the court should “send Aryn a message” that she too is “responsible” to pay for her attorney’s fees and that “this is not a free ride.”

“Aryn has been able to avoid seeking meaningful employment, preferring instead to comfortably live off her substantial support,” the document states. Aryn will likely claim she is losing money on her businesses yet even assuming this true, Jesse should not be prejudiced as a result of Aryn’s poor investment choices.”

Jesse who makes $521,000 monthly who hasn’t spoken publicly about his divorce and looks to be moving on. He recently confirmed a relationship with “Hit The Floor” actress Taylour Paige.
