Rihanna And LVMH Partner Up For Luxury Fashion House

Rihanna did not come to play in this beauty and fashion world. She’s already conquered the makeup realm with her undeniable Fenty Beauty line and now, Bad Gal Ri Ri is making moves in luxury fashion.

On Friday, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton announced in a press release that they’ve partnered with Rihanna to create a new luxury Maison that will be based in Paris. The new fashion house named Fenty will have Rihanna in charge, developing her vision of ready to wear clothes, shoes and accessories. She will also be behind the commerciality and communication of the brand. Fenty will debut very soon in Spring 2019, according to LVMH’s press release.

Rihanna declared in the release:

“Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us. Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”

Rihanna also celebrated the news on Instagram, acknowledging that she’ll be the first women to start a brand at LVMH and the first women of color to lead a LVMH Maison.

The Chairman and CEO of LVMH Bernard Arnault added:

“Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH. To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the Group resources. I am proud that LVMH is leading this venture and wish it will be a great success.”

So not only will Ri Ri have folks out here with the beat face, but with the fashion threads to destroy red carpets and other functions.

Bodies are ready.
