We all know Mathew is sneaky, but now a source tells Bossip that Mathew is even dirtier than we thought when it comes to making sure Bey Bey Beyonce stays on top of the charts.

A source in the Knowles camp tells us that Mathew truly despises Letoya Luckett and has been using payola to pay off DJ’s at radio stations not to play Letoya’s music. Letoya’s new single “Regret” doesn’t get any bigger than it already is. Our source says that Mathew thinks Letoya’s success will overshadow Beyonce’s if Letoya’s music gets as much airplay exposure as Beyonce’s.
We also learned that Beyonce is aware of what’s going on but won’t say anything to stop her dad. Apparently, she trusts Matthew and what he’s doing. Bossip researched and found out that Letoya’s single is in the top 5 spot on Urban radio charts, showing that the song has the potential to be played at the top urban radio stations in heavy rotation, yet it’s not.
Hmmm… we wonder why. We hear that Matthew is covering up the payola expense to pay off radio stations by saying the money is being used to go and review Beyonce’s tour shows at various venues. We hear he hasn’t had trouble with east coast stations because of their affiliations with Jay-Z, but the west coast stations haven’t been as easy.
As if this wasn’t enough, our source tells us this is only the tip of the iceberg and Matthew has more up his sleeves. Such a shame, Letoya didn’t even bad mouth Matthew when we chopped it up with her a couple of months ago. SMH Pics of Letoya on the set of her video for “Regret” below.

The record labels could not go through the radio stations to get play unless they paid this independent promotions company. And that’s why music sucks because all of these artists camps are paying off radio, Bet , MTV, Billboard charts. all of that stuff is set up. you know damn well some of these songs could not have possibly debut at number one. Unfortunately, this came out from an employee of Matthew’s company that expressed that he is paying radio stations not to play Letoya’s music. I don’t think it has anything to do with Beyonce’s success because none of the female artists are even close to her (as far as album sales). Matthew is just attempting to ensure that this young lady is NEVER successful in the music biz. It’s a PERSONAL vendetta…not surprisingly. He didn’t want her on the BET awards and he continues his sinister acts against her and she never utters a negative word about him or his family. Her actions convey she’s trying to move on from the DC days and be successful in her own right.

Let be honest folks. Bey is only famous not because of talent, but because she dates JayZ and she is naked most of the time. I haven’t yet read through all the comments, so I’m sure I’m repeating what someone else has said, but I love LeToya’s new CD, especially Regret (my jam) and She Ain’t Got. It’s in heavy rotation on my ipod. She’s beautiful and very talented. With that said, Bey really doesn’t have any competiton. She’s very successful in her own right, and I just don’t see Matthew wasting time and energy trying to keep LeToya down. If his daughter wasn’t a huge star, I could see it. I believe there is room for both of them. Unfortunately, LeToya’s CD has gone under the radar. She’s very underrated, and it’s shameful her record label didn’t promote her better.

I’m on the East coast, and I hear that damn Regret song all the time on the radio. I think LeToya is in league with Bossip because her record company is not promoting her. So they come up with these bs stories about the Knowles everytime to try to give her some shine. Is LeToya paying you $500 a month to the Bossip blogger to try to keep her relevant in some way. *****ody is stopping LeToya’s so-called fans from buying her albums or buying her songs on ITunes. Just face it, the girl just doesn’t have “it.” LeToya sold 33,000 copies in the first week. How is that a threat to anybody. She can’t even compete with Ciara, Keri and Amerie.
LeToya and LaTavia left Destiny’s Child 2 weeks before they got replaced. It was a letter in Vibe magazine from February 2001 that said they didn’t want Matthew to manage them anymore. It was probably the record company’s decision more to replace them because the record company said it wasn’t a good idea for them to have more than one manager.
It’s funny how when they were struggling and Matthew was paying for everything, it wasn’t any complaints about his management style for LaTavia and LeToya. But as soon as they got big, and everybody liked Beyonce the most it was a problem then. Maybe the ones getting karma are LeToya and LaTavia for being jealous, lying heifers.
Beyonce is talented, beautiful and hardworking that’s why she’s on top. It’s a shame that a black woman got to be put down like this by her own people. The reason why we don’t have many black female superstars is because the white media always tries to undercut them. They do it to Beyonce, too.
