Just to add to the comments regarding the cover of The Source depicting The Game contemplating suicide. From a PERSONAL stand point I am very much offended by this cover and to tell you the truth I was utterly SHOCKED. I personally have had dealt with a family member’s recent suicide. He was a black male which is very much out of the norm for who you would think to commit suicide. I think the cover is very insensitive and shows just how desensitized some people can be. I can’t help but to think of how my aunt would feel if she was in the grocery store and just so happened to see what is being depicted on this magazine. It is NOT okay for mainstream media to make money off this type of portrayal. I am all for freedom of speech or whatever anybody else wants to holler but at the very least it doesn’t have to be right on the front cover as BIG AS DAY! That is NOT okay! It’s really sad actually.

The Source has reached a new low and I wasn’t sure it was possible. To put a black man on the cover of a magazine poised to kill himself is horrific and terribly irresponsible. This should have never been discussed, shot, edited and printed by the staff Source Magazine. The KKK couldn’t have picked a better picture of black hate. Exploiting Game’s ignorance and self hatred to show such a vile image is repulsive and outrageous.
