Virgil Abloh’s Next Move Is Making His Way To Las Vegas

Right after presenting yet another Off-White collection at Paris Fashion Week, Virgil Abloh is adding one more thing to his already-extensive repertoire. The latest venture for the creator was just announced, and it’s going to be a residency at Wynn Las Vegas.

Though most of us are familiar with Virgil for his work as a designer, he’s also known to DJ from time-to-time, many times as an opening act for some of his friends like Travis Scott. Abloh is going to bring his act to the City of Lights later this month. Another one of Virgil’s pals Drake inked a similar residency deal this past January, which was reportedly worth over $10 million. Along with the residency, Wynn Plaza will also host an Off-White retail location.

The designer has actually DJ’d at Wynn Las Vegas before, his first set was back in February 2017 at its XS Nightclub. The newly announced residency will allow multiple appearances from the creator between Wynn’s two nightlife locations, XS Nighclub and Encore Beach Club.

Wynn Nightlife Managing Partner Alex Cordova spoke on the upcoming partnership, saying the following:

“Pushing the boundaries of where art, fashion and music collide has been a driving force behind our success, where every experience we present to guests first passes a litmus test for originality. We are honored to be working with such a visionary who appreciates the impact of artistry, and applies it to everything he does.”

Any fans who make their way to the Vegas strip can look forward to the first performance of Virgil’s residency on June 29 at XS Nightclub with select dates to follow throughout the rest of the year. As for the Off-White location in Wynn Plaza, that will open sometime in July.
