This is a pandemic that MUST stop. Children are having children!!! It’s no wonder that our society as a whole is declining. What sort of wisdom can she hope to p***** on to this child? This is a cl*****ic example of why it’s so important that we champion sex education. This is a monumental failure on so many levels.

Furthermore, I hope that they throw the book at this 19 year old. Even if he did think that she was 15, that’s still illegal.

actually the youngest child to have a baby was a 5 year old from peru. doctors thought it was a tumor her father had brought her in, but it was a baby and the father was believed to have been the culprit. when the girl got older she refused to name the father and didnt speak on the matter. her son was raised to believe that his mother was his sister

I worked at a hospital and saw girls that young having babies back in the early 90s. This is nothing new. I don’t know about the educational system in Bulgaria, but I hope she changes her mind about completing her education. You get an education so that you can options, and be more empowered about your career, etc. Without an education or marketable skills, she and her baby will be at risk for a life of poverty and dependency.

An 11-year old girl in Bulgaria has given birth to a baby girl after going into labour on her wedding day.

Kordeza Zhelyazkova became pregnant shortly after her 10th birthday and was all set to marry boyfriend Jeliazko Dimitrov when she went into labour during her wedding.

The bride-to-be was still wearing her wedding dress and tiara when she arrived at hospital to give birth to daughter Violeta.

She told Britain’s News of the World tabloid: “I’m not going to play with toys any more – I have a new toy now.”

Zhelyazkova, thought to be the world’s youngest mother, admitted that she had not known about sex education or even how to get pregnant. She presumed she was putting on weight from eating too many burgers. It was her grandmother who guessed she was pregnant.

Zhelyazkova’s 19-year-old husband is now facing up to six years in jail for having sex with a minor.

They must not start sex ed ’til the teen years in Bulgaria. Realistically, the first line of information should come from the parents…and early on. There will still be teens that get pregnant, but knowing the facts and contraception helps. SMH

I once read about the youngest grandmother in the world that was 21. She was 11 when she had her daughter and her daughter was 9 when she had her child. It could have been the other way around.

This story gets even more disturbing. Apparently the 11 year old gave birth ON her wedding day. Here’s how the paper describes it:

She was still wearing her flowing white dress and tiara when she arrived at hospital and gave birth to 5lb 8oz Violeta.

But after spending the night with her newborn, Kordeza – who you can see on video below – changed back into her wedding dress and nipped out to finish the ceremony.

And oh, it gets better. Check out how the girl FOUND OUT she was pregnant:

within a WEEK of them meeting, their daughter was conceived. Kordeza admitted: “I haven’t had sex education cl*****es and I didn’t know how to get pregnant. I’d never had a boyfriend and I’d never heard of condoms.

“I didn’t know I was pregnant until my grandmother saw I had put on weight. I just thought I’d eaten too many burgers.”

Well apparently it’s illegal to have sex with a minor in Bulgaria and so hubby may be getting locked up. Here’swhat he has to say about it:

But after spending the night with her newborn, Kordeza – who you can see on video below – changed back into her wedding dress and nipped out to finish the ceremony.

within a WEEK of them meeting, their daughter was conceived. Kordeza admitted: “I haven’t had sex education cl*****es and I didn’t know how to get pregnant. I’d never had a boyfriend and I’d never heard of condoms.

Do not think she is the youngest perhaps in her area yes. But I remember there was a 9/10 year old that got pregnant on my island. Also an 11 year old girl who actually delivered her baby at home without anyone noticing – for about 2 weeks a baby was living in the house without detection. I went to school with her did not realise she was pregnant.

Births at this age are more common that we know, its nothing new. Sad but it is happening.

Most other animals procreate as soon as they can. We wait til 30 and 40 now and that is not as healthy as late teens or 20’s. If she was too young, she wouldn’t have been able to get pregnant.

And even if it isn’t. We should let her have that title. That’s not a title that we (we meaning Black people) should be fighting to claim (although I’m sure that a lot of us know some girls who had babies at her age or younger).

And I wish her and her newborn the best. Being a parent is hard and she has a rude awakening in store for her. A 5th grade education (if he even has that) is not going to get you very far in this day and age, especially when you have a child to take care of. Stuff like this happens in America a lot more than we realize. First of all when a girl that age in the US gets pregnant she is considered a victim and you wouldn’t see it in the news or papers due to her age. I have lived in what some would call ghetto or poor neighborhoods and this happens with some regularity. I’m not gonna point at races and cultures, because up until the last 100 years or so the average life expectency of people was middleage by today’s comparisons, and every culture has been effected by modern medicine. The result was that we began to put off procreating until a later time simply because we have more of it now. I honestly expect this to happen with greater frequency in the US simply because our society is moraly out of balance. How often have we youtubed some child acting or dancing in ways that we would expect adults to with their parents approvingly recording them. Unlike in the US other countries do not have such easy access to abortion clinics…. FYI a lot of hair products contain estrogen mimicing chemicals to make hair soft which has been proven to cause early puberty in girls and would explain so many effeminite men. IMO

GOD made it possible for her to get pregnant. We as a society have decided what’s the appropriate age to have a child, but nature says it is when you have eggs and sperm. Most other animals procreate as soon as they can. We wait til 30 and 40 now and that is not as healthy as late teens or 20’s. If she was too young, she wouldn’t have been able to get pregnant.

A girl can get pregnant at 9, 10, or 11, but she is not supposed to because her body is still developing. Teen and pre-teen mothers, like mothers over 40, are at much greater risk for complications during pregancy.

Nature does not say it is ok to procreate when you have eggs and sperm. Nature says it is ok to procreate when you are physically, mentally and emotionally mature enough to INDEPENDENTLY ensure the survival of your offspring. Human beings are not physically mature until their late teens/early 20’s. In many cases, emotional and mental maturity comes later than that.

Comparing human procreation to animal procreation does not make sense. Animals don’t have to learn all the complex social and economic rules that humans need to ensure the survival of their offspring.

I believe the mother had what you call precocious puberty. My youngest daughter was diagnosed with that. She started to develop breast buds at the age of 4 and had the beginnings of pubic hair at 2. Now she is 6 and has developed acne. She is currently under the care of a pediatric endocrinologist. I’ve heard people say that precocious puberty is rampant among black and hispanic girls. Very untrue. I am Italian and many of the women in my family have had their first period by age 8.

This story does not shock or amaze me any. My cousin’s stepdaughter got pregnant when she was 11 and had twins when she just turned 12. There are a lot of “tweens” having kids and I doubt if she is the youngest in the world. I think she may be the youngest to be do*****ented. I am a social worker and I had a pregnant 10 year old on my caseload so I know this is not accurate. Sooo sad to say that this is our reality now and I deal with it every day.
