I have had family members die from AIDS and I know that gaunt look when I see it. It goes beyond just looking skinny, especially when you are in the advanced stages of the disease. If you’ve ever seen it up close and personal, trust me, you would know what i am talking about.

And yes, you can be HIV positive (like Magic Johnson and many others) and look perfectly healthy and fine.

Rupaul does appear to have HIV/AIDS or some other immune disorder (AIDS is not the only disease that causes the gaunt look!!)and if that’s the case I hope he comes out and says it soon…..he could help so many people struggling with the disease..I applaud him for showing his face…NO ONE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HAVING HIV/AIDS.
