The bottom line is, she KNOWS how much NAS gets every month. NAS isn’t exactly in the poorhouse if you read Forbes.

But, to need 73k just to raise a child? What kind of message is that sending to responsible people?

Read the entire story. It does NOT say child support. It says spousal support. They are two separate issues. Spousal support is taxable income and is based off of the incomes during a marriage. It doesn’t imply that the money is just for their child. If he was the breadwinner during their marriage, even if he weren’t famous, he’d still be ordered to pay it. Stop trying to pin everything on the woman for crying out loud. She just had the man’s child. They were together for a while by industry norms. Spousal support, at this level, is not out of the norm. It is not permanent or even until the child reaches majority. It’s more than likely for 1-2 years, which equates to less than $2M and is TAXABLE.

yea it is spousal support and not child support but i mean still even if u wanted 5 figures..i think 10-30 grand would be okay for his income but 73k man a month is crazy man, you could still buy a new designer dress for like a grand each week and still have 69 thousand left. Yes she doesnt need to go broke but should try to broke him either i mean which is better? 73 for like what a year till he’s broke or 30k for like 2-5 years depending on how his future earnings go..given his current figures i think he could pay the 30k per year leave him with more cash to make more cash. 73k x 12 months = 876,000 (how much she makes if he’s broke in a year)

30k x 5yrs (12×5 = 60)= 1,800,000
(ask for less and you make at least a mil in spousal support excluding child support)

Even if 5 years is too long…3 years and she’s making 1,080,000.

She’s not his baby momma, she is his wife first and foremost… She didn’t just have a baby by a rapper, she was married to that rapper before there was a thought of a baby! Secondly, neither one of them are average and don’t live average. Anytime someone get’s divorced and supposal support is awarded, it’s awarded based on the income/money generated during the marriage. Hell, Mel Gibson’s wife is going to get half of his $500 million and that’s without a fight.
