I think people always make excuses when they know what to do and don’t do it. I think Russell is an enabler and it’s sad. Stop with the excuses and start doing because most of us do know better and just don’t do. We use our background to excuse our actions but it can’t always be the case. We have to wain ourselves off of the BS and get real with ourselves and only then can we upbuild our communities.

Put the blame where the blame belongs. The music is filthy. The children have no upbringing, morals, or respect. And the African American community is determined to stay in the ghetto and promote that as if it’s something to be proud of or excited about. Ask the people WHO HAVE to live there if it’s as glamorous as the music makes it out to be.

We will never wake up which is why we will always be a minority. Don’t get mad at Bill Cosby because he isn’t concerned to speak his mind while worrying about losing “Street Cred.” Street cred never paid the bills homey.

Russell hasn’t done or meant as much to the community nor is his legacy even near that of Mr. Cosby’s.

One thing black people can’t stand is the truth. Hate him all you want, but he’s telling the truth and our people know it.

I commend Russell for his respectful comments to Mr. Cosby. He expressed his opinions and concerns. He didnt attack him or was he condescending. Unlike some black people would have done.
