I would not consider this nor call this Hip Hop which IMO is a big difference from RAP. To me Hip Hop is someone such as Bahamadia, MC Trouble (RIP), Monie Love, Mos Def etc…

^this statement is false and mis educated. There has always been light and brown blacks…its different parts of africa. In some parts ppl are darker, and other parts ppl were lighter..the reason why blacks in america are lighter than most africans is because of the ray of sun in our region.. If we go to africa we will get shades darker because of the region…it got nothing to do with “white genes”…..

Where does Hip Hop Originate from? Africa, we don’t emulate America when we rap…we emulate the culture but not hip hop. because hip hop isn’t the culture, it speak about the culture.
Back in the day many, many centuries ago villagers used to have praise men. these dudes would speak about a clan or head of village over a drum beat. He took the experiences, status, culture and wealth of the subject and spoke about it over a beat using metaphors and flowery language. This was long before there was radio. so when rappers speak about women, cars and their money, they are just carrying tradition because for years that is how Africa told Her stories.
