New Book Puts Tom Cruise and Scientology on Blast!!!
Posted by Bossip Staff
If you were ever wondering what goes down at the church of Scientology…then this should be a good read for you:
A new book released yesterday by author Marc Headley, Blown for Good, reveals details inside Scientology headquarters at the organization’s “Gold Base,” located near Hemet, California. Headley joined the organization at age seven when his mother became a member, and worked at Scientology’s International Management Headquarters for several years before leaving in 2005. While an employee of the Scientology headquarters located in Riverside County, California, Headley had the experience of practicing Scientology counseling services called “auditing” with Scientologist Tom Cruise, shortly after the actor had completed work on the film Days of Thunder. In 1990, Cruise was training to become proficient in the Scientology auditing techniques, and Headley was selected to become the actor’s auditing partner. The book gives background on a 9-minute long video of Tom Cruise, leaked to the Internet in January 2008, that featured the actor discussing his views on Scientology. The Church of Scientology’s attempts to remove the leaked video from the Internet motivated the group Anonymous to focus its efforts against the organization. Headley writes that initially the promotional video about Cruise was supposed to feature celebrities including Will Smith speaking about the actor, but Miscavige instead insisted Cruise should simply talk about himself.
The book was reviewed Wednesday by the Editor in chief of The Village Voice, Tony Ortega, who characterized it as a “remarkable account.” “Headley’s book also provides stunning material that has rarely been collected in one place, even with the Internet’s deep resources on L. Ron Hubbard’s strange creation. Headley’s story provides a damning account of life working for Scientology leader David Miscavige at the secretive desert base,” wrote Ortega in the review. He commented, “Perhaps the best service that Headley provides with Blown for Good is giving non-Scientologists the sense of what it’s really like to work, day in and day out, in such a strange organization, from the lowliest laborer mucking out excrement in a Gold Base pond (Headley says sh*t was coming out of his ears and pores for days) to what kind of luxuries the celebrities and high-ranking members enjoy.”

Ronn L. Hubbard created the show Star Trek and then created a religon based on *****e ships and aliens. What more needs to be said about the total lunacy of this religon/cult???

Why do rich people seek out religions no one really knows about? Kaballah and Scientology are an example

line up your chakras! Focus you inate power on the answer you are lookin for…and understand that life is more then you can imagine and time is 3D!! time to hit a stargate and travel to heaven and back!
Whatever – they’ll all have to answer for this B.S one day.
@2dimplzs- Gene Rodenbury created Star Trek not L Ron Hubbard. I beleive the book was called Dianetics by L Ron Hubbard.
he sounds crazy as hell…its a shame how having money can taint your mind & make you feel “god-like”…it’s a damn shame…money is evil man…it’s like a poison that has a very good taste…
He’s battier than this homeless guy I saw last week talking to and trying to share his hot dog with a stop sign on K stree.
There is Only One God And with all of these other religious that’s out here is just a false prophet. GOD is the beginning and the Ending to all things
This guy is sold out. Only Hollywierd people can believe in that because they even believe they are the characters they play….I mean……..even after they say………. CUT!!! LMAO
@ smart guy: LOL Bobby Boucher!
It’s all Mat Knowles’ fault!
i couldn’t bare listen to it all the way through because i had no idea what the hell he was talking about blah blah blah
will smith is a scientologist also. his wife jada joined b4 he did and both are BFF with tom. they wanted to keep their affiliation a secret and kept denying it, but the truth came out. then he & jada created a private school [New Village Academy]that teaches scientology principles. i used to like will until i found out he was involved in this cult mess. his kids are going to be so screwed up!

IS IT ME OR DOES TOM LOOK LIKE RB SINGER BACK IN THE DAY AL B SURE,EVEYTIME THIS GUY TALKS IT SEEMS LIKE HES ACTING,
Star Trek was created by Gene Roddenberry, not L. Ron Hubbard.
Still seems strange. Don’t know enough about it to judge. All religions went through a vetting period before acceptance (Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Budhism etc)
I had no idea that T.C. was this INSANE. HILARIOUS! The background music adds a nice touch. Thank you for the laugh T.C. I needed it.
That was the longest video of PURE nothing I’ve ever seen in my life. WTF is he on??? Poor, poor Katie…
If Will and Jada are truely into this crap… SMH. I guess that’s how they deal with their “open relationship” so well.
yall r right christianity is used for control but it has nothing to do with the bible
@ 2dimplzs,
Actually Gene Roddenbery created Star Trek, L.Ron Hubbard wrote a bunch of sci-fi novels, and then decided to create a made up religion. I once read he did it as a bet to see if anyone would actually take it seriously, and lo and behold, it caught on in a time where many people were looking for something to give them meaning, just like the numerous amount of people that found that “meaning” in eastern religions. But I definately think its a weird ***** made up religion, that just sounds more coo-coo the more you learn about it. Actually, mosts religions seem that way to me.
BOSSIP..wtf?! I’ve had ‘Blown for Good’ on release alert with Barnes and *****le for 2 weeks now…the f*cking book doesn’t come out until Jan 1, 2010!! (In the meantime I am occupying my time reading Paul Mooney’s memoir, ‘Black Is The New White’.)
Obama made up this religion to fool negros to vote for him with their negro thumb stamp! Such a falsehood. Negros voting for the aliens in the volcano! I’ve seen it all. Cocaine! Cocaine! Cocaine!
Keep the stories coming! Expose this abomination these fools call a religion-a satanic money hungry cult. They imprison people, tear families apart, and focus on imtimidating people who do not agree with them. God will put a stop this this insanity soon.
is this anything to do with this illuminatti we been hearing about
When I look out at the cosmos, my imagination drifting outward past our splendid Milky Way, beyond our local galactic cluster, and the many distant super clusters of galaxies totaling 100 billion light-years across, God becomes extremely evident while man and his “religions” seem about as relevant as last Tuesday night’s garbage. There has ALWAYS been “us and God” long before anybody ever heard of religion. That’s where I go.
Why would Church of Scientology try to removed this video?? I like Tom Cruise, but this dude is talking in circles! WTF is he saying?! Unless the Church is trying to protect T.C. from looking like a clueless fool, why removed it? The way I see it, what ever they trying to hide……is still hidden.
Why are Scientologist so wealthy? Can the “average Joe” join?
I watched the video all the way through and the only thing I got out of it is the obligation to help. That’s it. Help a situation, person or whatever.
It was also unfair the way the video was edited. It made TC look/sound psychotic. Speaking of, Christian Bale said the inspiration for his character “Bateman” in the cult movie “American Psycho” was based on Tom Cruise. He was watching him being interviewed by David Letterman one night and he said and I quote, “He had this intense friendliness with absolutely nothing behind the eyes”. Wow.
Didn’t Rhianna say the same thing about Chris Brown?
ever since he got that young coochie hes been talking nonsense i hope that katie can bring him back to the light
@Txgals – are you freaking kidding me? Get your mind straight, they are a bunch of loooonies! Everybody knows it! If you’re still in the dark or just plain too stupid, go Google scientology auditing techniques and come back with something smarter to say next time, sheesh!
