Don’t call it a comeback for both Chris Brown and Vibe Magazine this December. Breezy, “Mr. I’m trying to get my life together after whooping my girl’s a*s,” will cover Vibe’s come back issue (they shut their doors back in June due to some financial issues)…in hope of salvaging both the performer’s and the magazine’s careers. Damn.

Chris Brown has, and is continuing to get help for the entire ordeal that took place. He is a young man who has his whole life ahead of him. I do not understand why people continue to baddger him for the inncident. I do not recall the press tearing Mike Tyson apart like this when he rendered a similar beating to Robin Givens in the 90’s, and he didnt do half as much as Chris has done to prove himself sorry for what occured. Rihanna has moved on, and stated in her 20/20 interview that she doesnt hate him and she wishes him well eventhough her healing process still has some time to go. Yes, Chris did absolutely wrong in hitting Rihanna the way he did, it was not Domestic Violence, but an *****ault, there is a big difference between the two. However, let’s be real, she is still a victim of *****ault, no matter if she provoked it or not, but there were other options for him and her to take, all though being young is not an excuse, Chris is taking the appropriate steps as required by law, and he should be allowed to do so with some dignity for his actions, all of this media bashing does come with the territory of him and her being celebrities, however,it is clear the PR management of his career is not in touch or as informed as Rihanna’s is as calculating and direct in their timing and deliverance. Chris has been in the past a very respectful person of his peers and fans, remember that attribute because it has not changed before and after this incident and that is what we all admired and what endeared him to us. I do not and so do many others think he is a monster, but he should be allowed to make a difference by speaking out against it, and he is helping others by taking accountability. Music is what he knows and how he makes his living and Rihanna. Teen dating violence is an issue that has come to the forefront because of this very public incident. Chris’ camp should understand that this is a teaching moment for him to let other young men that are in his situation and use his spotlight to understand themselves and how to handle conflict, and for Rihanna’s camp to understand that this is not a PR campaign for possible record sales but a teachable moment for her on how young women can handle relationships and issues in a non confrontational manner.

This comment is from a mother who has a son who has experienced domestic violence. For months, he suffered in silence for men are suppose to be the strength in the family and far too often, people don’t want to believe that women can be abusers.
On the last occ*****ion he actually went to jail because when the police arrived they would not accept that SHE was abusing him and because SHE had a couple of marks on her arms where he was trying to hold her back to prevent her from hitting him. After seeing his face it was nothing but his maturity that kept him from killing her.
Now mind you, he had plenty of marks showing that he had been injured (an open cut on his forehead where she had thrown a phone and struck him, a busted lip from her swinging at him, a ***** nose and tons of scatches) but of course – society dictates that it MUST be the man at fault – never the woman.
However a WISE JUDGE asked my son (after seeing the pictures of his injuries vs hers) was he being abused and he fessed up. This same WISE JUDGE decided to ask their children what had happened and they told him that mommy always hit daddy, or throw things at daddy and that on this occ*****ion (they were also trying to get him for child endangerment because he ‘fell’ with his youngest child in hand) that mommy pushed daddy down.
So although Chris had NO RIGHT to hit Rhianna, I am not so quick to believe that she was completely innocent. I’d love to see Chris’ mugshot! – Wonder why it was NEVER released!

It is time for both of them to move on. Rihanna will still be on covers of prominent magazine displaying her talent, unique style and beauty. She will still do well on the charts and continue selling records and concert tickets. Chris has already landed on the cover of Vibe Magazine: Whatever that means. He has new songs being released and the rest is up to the public. I think it was all much too fast for Chris with his way of thinking: all I want to do is make records. That’s not enough. It is easy to quickly do public service; write a check to a cause. He needed to take some serious time off and out of the public eye to work on himself and not hide behind a pastor who probably doesn’t have the credential of a psychologist/psychiatrist. Then, the public would have been more forgiving. With him propelling forward as to hurry up and get this thing behind me so that I can get back to making money to also support those around me is a sure recipe for failure. I’m hearing this should have been just between me and Rihanna, etc. Well the public is pays law enforcement and the D.A. as well as buy his fork out money for CDs, Concerts, etc. Therefore, we have a right to know what kind of image we are buying into with our money, etc. Forgiveness is one thing. A number of people in prison have been forgiven by victims families so that they can move on, but that doesn’t mean the perpetrator is not going to be set free. Why? Because he or she has to be held accountable. Accountability or punishment in this case has to do with $$$. No one is stopping Chris from getting in the studio, or up on stage. There’s an audience for all types of entertainers. This is no difference than when those in my life stop purchasing the CDs of Whitney that supported her drug-induced lifestyle. Cheez – the guy made a mistake, paid for it legally and he still has to suffer. Did anyone tank Tommy Lee’s career for beating the shyt out of Pam. And he was grown. Chris was a teenager at the time. Doesn’t make it right – but shows he’s got a lot to learn. If he ever does something like this again, he’s DONE. But everyone deserves a second chance, especially when they did something at a young age. Experience is the best teacher, not you haters.

NO MATTER WHAT RHIANNA DID…HE DIDN’T HAVE NO RIGHT PUTTING HIS HANDS ON HER. HE SOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY. AND RHIANNA WAS IN LUST…SHE WAS NOT IN LOVE…A FOOL IS WHAT SHE WAS..IF YOU ASK ME!!

I am so glad I don’t have hate in my heart like most on here. And it’s funny how all the negative comments on here are basically calling for this kid to end his life.
