Joe Jackson is a piece of work. Despite Michael’s wishes, Joe Jackson has filed for a stipend:
Court records show Michael Jackson’s father is seeking an allowance from his son’s estate. An attorney for Joe Jackson filed papers…… in Los Angeles on Friday seeking a stipend, saying there was no apparent reason for the administrators of the estate to not seek an allowance for the 81-year-old family patriarch.
Michael Jackson’s 2002 will, however, only called for money to be paid to his mother, Katherine, his three young children, and various charities. A judge has approved more than $26,000 in payments to Katherine Jackson each month, and a $60,000 monthly payment for the care of the children.
Didn’t Michael specifically ask that Joe not be allowed to have his creepy paws close to any of his money??? What a lowlife!

In the papers, the 81-year-old’s lawyer wrote that Michael Jackson had footed his father’s bills for decades.
“He does not have a regular or steady source of income, and he was dependent upon the money provided by his son, Michael Jackson, through his wife, Katherine Jackson, for his support,” attorney Brian Oxman wrote.

I remember his interview on the red carpet over the summer with Don Lemon, just days after Michael p*****ed, and he gleefully plugged his new business venture. It’s like his son’s death gave him new life. I’ve never seen this much of Joe Jackson before — ever. It’s so disturbing.
His son paid for his living expenses, but he couldn’t show him just common decency and respect — and just plain love, the kind you would expect a father to have for his child — after he p*****ed. It just compounds the pain of this m*****ive loss.

Maybe he was not the best father. Never the less we would not have had Micheal if it was not for him and Katherine. Micheal should have made a some kind allowance for his father in his old age, even if it was not much, sorry Micheal you are wrong for that. Mike does not owe his father anything. Joe Jackson was paid handsomely as the Jackson 5 manager. The bulk of Micheal’s estate has come and will come from his solo career. If he wanted Joe to have a stiped he would have left it to him in his will. This man is money hungry! He had the vision,but if it was not for the God-given talent of the Jacksons especially Micheal we wouldn’t even know who Joe Jackson is. It is a reason Micheal did not leave His father any money, and this move by Joe is an example of why. Respect Micheal’s wishes, his only obligation is to his children and their caretaker. Joe Jackson came up in an era where that was the only way of discipline that he knew. Ask your parents or grandparents. There was no such thing as timeout. Michael seems to have been the only one so deeply affected by the discipline. 1 out of 9 is not bad when you consider the results. You never really heard any scandal about the Jacksons. No drug problems like many of these other child stars. Michael became addicted because of medical reasons. If you read or watched more stuff about Michael you would know that he made up with his father in recent years. He loves his brothers too yet only left money to his mother and kids. You can
bet that his brothers and sisters are getting some kind of money and by right Joe deserves his cut too. Without him we would never have had the Jackson Dynasty. He guided their careers to perfection.

Seriously, Michael felt tortured by this man. There is no way he would want him to have a dime from his estate. He didn’t leave money to his parents, he left it to his mother, who is separated from Joe. Joe is old and pitiful, but he’s estranged from Katherine and Michael talked about the abouse endlessly. Joe is the one who made him feel ugly. Called him big nose. Those scars never healed. We all saw the results of Joe’s verbal abuse and Michael NEVER forgot the physical abuse. I loved MJ and it hurts me to see his memory disrespected so thoroughly by his father who he (MJ) called the monster.
Wonder if Joe would be offering to pay MJ’s bills if things were different and MJ was in debt. I take that back, I don’t wonder.

I fully agree with SYDNEY! Yes, Joe did push the career of the Jackson 5. He saw the opportunity then and in Michael’s death he sees it once more. I think regardless of how much Michael loved his mother, he would have adjusted his allowances to her if he knew she was funneling money to Joe. How many idiots does it take to realize that Michael did not want to, and was not going to, provide for Joe? This “NEED” is now going to the courts and hopefully it will be thrown out again and again.
