BOSSIP spies were in the building at hottest spot in Hollyweird last night, Guys & Dolls. We got the scoop on Cuba acting a fool in there…dancing on tables while hitting kush and smacking white girls’ booties:
The placed was packed to the max. We happened to be sitting next to Electrik Red and Paul Rodriguez when we noticed some fool dancing on the table across the room, with a cloud of smoke around him. The guy turns around and it’s “Trey” from Boyz-N-Da Hood with a joint between his big lips and a couple of A-listers sitting at his booth. No big deal because Cuba is obviously a lush and a stoner, but sitting in the next booth is none other than The Game and Nipsey Hussle, sipping on Cris. The Game Obviously isn’t feeling BOSSIP and Cuba was too blasted to realize who we were or how much of a clown we think he is. Cuba is married, but was all over the place, all over white girls, and smiling real hard in their faces like he does on TV. Gooding, the married man, grabbed the nearest white girl and started making out with her… giving her “shotgun tokes” of the joint. They didn’t allow BOSSIP cameras in this time, but maybe next time.

Well, what can we say about Cuba that hasn’t already been said. He’s an accomplished actor, great depth and range…becomes absorbed into his character to make them believable. However, some of the roles he has chosen, for whatever reason, ($$$) have given rise to comments of “self loathing,” “sell out,” “uncle Tom” etc., which I’m sure hurts the brutha because I think he would love to be accepted and acknowledged by the Black community as a strong Black conscious brutha. Cuba is success model for African American to White cultural *****imilation at the cost of his Afrocentric consciousness. In his mind, it was a fair trade for success, although, regrettable. With this on his conscious, he goes out every now and then and purposefully acts like ah “*****” just to let his critics know he can “keep it real.” The fact that he dates white women exclusively aside, Cuba knows how to “ack a fool”…albeit waterd down…he knows how to cut loose and has enough money to do it in private, away from the judgement and paps and scorn of the Black community if he chooses too but, he went out to blow off some steam and be “seen doin’his thang” in public. Personally, I’m disappointed in some of his choices of movie roles as they pertain to the portrayal of the Black man in film.
