Breezy had his interview with MTV last week, right before Rihanna’s 20/20 interview. As we watched Rihanna’s explanation, we couldn’t help but think… Wonder how CB feels about what she’s saying. MTV went and got the answer…

Pop it for his Response

Breezy

Now that they both have said their peace, which one do you think is going to sell the most albums, especially with them being dropped just a couple of weeks apart???

  • DaHonestTruth ~ I Will ALWAYS Keep It Real

and not once does he say she hit him first….

i wonder when you CB stans will stop making that up and accept this is an animal who should have done time!

  • trs

    Excellent statement.

  • britneybritney

Regardless of what people believe, we DO NOT know for sure what happened that night. Only people that do are Rihanna and Chris. Therefore, I won’t speculate on that.
    ANYWAYYYY…
    Rihanna will sell more albums.

  • Greg

    @da Honest truth

Let it go man, just let it go he’s already gotten more punshiment than first time offenders for the similar actions…just let it go

  • CB IS A PUNK

YOU STANS ARE RIDICULOUS! ACCEPT THE FACT THAT THE BOY HAS A RAGE PROBLEM. HE DIDN’T DENY ANY OF THE FACTS SHE LAID OUT ON 20/20. HE BEAT THAT GIRL CAUSE SHE CAUGHT HIS DUMBASS CHEATING.

  • Greg

actually Chris will sell he always has

  • UkFunKY

I CAN TRANSFORM YA! LA LA LA ….. SMH!

  • http://bossip.com This some Shhh…

I been stopped giving a damn about these two.

  • GET REAL

Of coarse he want to keep it private. He was the souless devil beating the sh!t out of her.

  • CaribbeanGirlForBreezy

That’s right Chris. Keep it classy!

  • Adrienne K

Though I love Rhianna and glad you spoke her peace…I will buy Chris’s album. I think he will need more help selling records than she will. She will be fine. Love them both and glad they squashed it and put it in God’s hands. Jesus forgave, and teaches forgiveness. So let it be….

  • 2dimplzs

This little snot nosed nicca has A LOT of nerve saying that some things need to stay private! First of all if you hadn’t whupped her head in the first place none of this would be an issue right now!

Second of all you went on a whole damage control circuit trying to redeem yourself telling YOUR ONE SIDED tale of the story and the other party involved doesn’t have the right to respond to that or put HER TRUTH out there? Get the hell out of here man!!!!

Like my mama says there’s Chris’ side, Rihanna’s side and then the TRUTH! He has no right to tell her what she can or cannot say. That’s just another tactic abusive men use to try to keep CONTROL over their victims! HOW DARE HE even release a statement like that!!!!

I was willing to give this BOY the benefit of the doubt but all of that went out the window when I read his statement! He hasn’t changed, he’s still trying to control her and if she ever lost her mind and went back to him he’d be right back to whuppin’ her head!!! Get a life Chris Brown!!

  • pynklyzurd14

I been stopped giving a damn about these two.

i for one certainly won’t be buying any of that monster’s music, EVER!
As for RiRi, I’ll probbaly listen to a few of her tracks.

  • Aunt Viv

    I like his response.

  • Tracey

Didnt Chris Brown talk about the beatings on MTV, YOUTUBE and Larry King? Hypocrite!

She he can talk, but she can’t? Bit like he can two time, but she can’t ask about it, hence the black eyes!

    Chris is a horrible individual!

No wonder she passed out on stage, and he just looked at her and carried on, he is a self centred imbecile!

  • Tracey

He is to talk about God, the only thing God done for you Chris is expose you as a woman beater!

  • HoneySuckleGirl (KEEP ME NEAR THE CROSS…LOL)

    @IJM

I am with you 100 percent!

  • eyt

well, i am so over this topic. when children play grown they get caught up in grown situations. The bottom line is all the judgmental bloggers(who have never did anything stupid in their lives before) can keep saying that hate him and he is this and he is that but he will be FINE. He admitted his issues and he is seeking help. Now she on the other hand is acting like a puppet, she is trying to sale music by coming out months later saying what she thinks people want to hear. That is not dealing with the fact that you allowed Chris to fight you. without help she will continue to pick guys that are abusive to her. she is still in denial… she does not want to hear from him blah blah.. you still love him and you would be with him now if you did not think you would be talked about..

Any man that hits a woman, is a loser and a jerk…Chris Brown is one of them,he disgusts me, yuck

  • Tracey

I want to hear Rhianna talk about the beatings, more more more, he beat you woman, now talk about it and help others :0)!

The guy was talking just last week himself!

  • http://deleted xX__FxxKinG FanTastiC__Xx

Well Said. I Support Chris Brown To The Fullest.

Everybody Needs To Get Over It && Move On!!

WTF?! Why Is Everybody Still Going Hard With This??

Rihanna is Partying, Chilling, Doing Her Thing, && So Is Chris.
If They Can Move On, Why Can’t Yall??

Well I Support Chris 100%. Get Em Boy!

  • SoooSassy

Rihanna will sell more records hands down. After seeing Rihanna’s interview, Chris Brown needs to keep his mouth shut. I have been Chris Brown supporter 100% up to this point. His nonchanlant attitude is getting on my nerve! He shouldn’t have done that Larry King interview acting like he was soooo forgetful. Accepting responsibility for what you did means owning up to the fact you whooped Rihanna’s azz! We saw the picture. So for this mofo to release another statement talking about he wants to keep details between the two of them is so ridiculous to the point I am laughing right now. I appreciated the fact Rihanna wanted to discuss her situation and I have a lot of respect for her because of it. Chris is too worried about damage control!!!!! With that being said, he should have kept his dam* hands to himself.

  • http://bossip miss dior

I can’t see white folks buying his albums…Ri should have gone on Oprah.lol

  • angie

    HOPE CHIRS SALES MORE ALBUMS!!!

  • SofaKingCool

    To 2dimplzs:

Chris Said: While i respect Rhianna’s right to discuss the specific events of Feb 8th, “I” maintain “MY” position that all details remaina a private matter between us.

He never said she should not saying anything about what happened. Just another example of someone not knowing the whole story but adjusting a partial story to meet their own personal agenda. In other words your just slick-hating. Keep the hating to a minimum cause people do notice.

WOW your first sentence is so true.Chris has to stay away from her or he goes to prison. This is public knowledge yet ppl on you tube and a lot of them white blog are saying shes strong to walk away from love and she doing it for her fans, bs .After the fight the two of them were secretly seeing each other then it got out and chris got scared. I remember when she checked into a hotel that cb was staying at( this was after the first court ordered stay away)and when he returned and found out she was there he and his entourage high tail out pronto. The second judge was not please at all seems she was made aware of their meet-ups and express her displeasure and warn cb that if he break the rules of his punishment he will definately spend time in prison.seems some ppl in the world has put their brains on pause while they spew untruths trying to manipulate others.damn shame. The truth will be reveal some day.

  • http://Myspace.com/theadventuresoftwalla Queen*Pen

I was thinking the same thing miss dior I was thinking the same thing BAD MOVE JAYZ.

  • Lady K

    @Tracy

WTF is wrong with you? Did he hit YOU? He just said the ‘details’ of the event should have been private, not that she shouldn’t talk about it at all. If you really want to ‘help’ women in this situation, more education should be given to young men and boys so they don’t repeat these same mistakes, thus ending the cycle of violence. Don’t just demonize these guys, that doesn’t help anyone and just makes them more resentful and ready to take out their anger on someone other female’s head. You sound so ignorant. Let this crap die, I don’t want to hear it anymore. Got caught up for a minute but, I’m tired.

    Good luck Chris!

  • klm

As stated this was not a situation that had occurred with the couple before. The orginal part of the argument began with a text received from another woman, which upset Rihanna and in turn created an arugment. No one just blows up for no reason, not that what occurred was good, Im sure there was some provoking on Rihanna parts as well. The argument blowup into a sitution that Im sure if both parties had their way would want to change somethings that occured that night and/or the events to follow. They are both young, both human and make mistakes. Both are trying to correct their mistakes and move forward with their lives. I wish them both all the best.

  • Tracey

Nothing is wrong with me, I am not supoporting an animal, get the facts are, your ignorant behind is!

  • Tracey

Anyone seen footage of Rhianna passing out on stage, and chris brown carries on singing??? Any loving man would have stopped and attended to his partner, nuff said!

  • Tracey

On larry King, it was sauid he has roughed up Rhianna before, and wrencked a rented car in Barbados out of temper. The beatings on Grammy night, wasnt a one off, only a FOOL can believe that!

  • Be Real

i don’t really want to know anymore about what happened between the two of them. i just know that chris is really talented and it’s a shame that his career is suffering because of an incident that def. could have been avoided, and that i believe is his fault for the most part.

from what ive heard his album will def. be better than rihanna’s. not that it is a competition or anything, im just saying. but i hope that both of their careers will survive through this.

and i think the point of him making this comment was more to put it behind him, than to protect himself or her. he’s basically saying that he’s said all that he’s going to say about it. i think it was very well said.

  • 1TruDiva w/the PlatinumVocals—Pimpin, Platinum style!!! J-Hud’s concert was OFF THE MEAT RACK!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone explain to me that after the beat down he handed to her, she is STILL trying to get the restraining order lifted?

Other than that, I could find room to care less about the whole mess.

I’m glad they are attempting to now focus on their….uh….careers.

  • 1TruDiva w/the PlatinumVocals—Pimpin, Platinum style!!! J-Hud’s concert was OFF THE MEAT RACK!!!!!!!!!

    Another thought–

I think both of them have a loyal fan base so their records will sell. Whose will seel the most? It’s hard for me to say.

I’m just glad neither one of them are depending on me to buy their CD because if so, they’d BOTH be broke!

  • Tracey

    @Sofakingcool, what rubbish!

Why are you giving us YOUR opinions on Chris and Rhiannna, and telling us how WE should think, if you are all for staying out of people’s business?

I tell you what, you stay outta my business, I am in a free country and can think how I want to think!

the moment a public figure, beats up his girlfriend in public, I am allowed to have an opinion on it and can express it freely!

The moment Chris appears on youtube, MTV and Larry King publicly being paid to express his opinion on the event for the gerneral public, i can think what the hell i want to think again!

i think chris is a hypocrite, an animal and a brain dead a hole!

  • 1TruDiva w/the PlatinumVocals—Pimpin, Platinum style!!! J-Hud’s concert was OFF THE MEAT RACK!!!!!!!!!

    OMG!

Some of the spelling and grammatical errors in here is HORRIBLE!!!!

I’m trying to understand some points of views but…I…..JUST…..CAN’T!

**going back up to reread and attempt to decipher some of this garbled mess**

  • jazzyjayda

can yall just let this die DAMN!

  • Tracey

Why are you talking about grammatical error (which is my biggest crime) when there is no such word as can’t? It doesnt exist lol!

  • angie

tracey chill damn! you’re catching hella feelings over two people that never have and never will pay any of your bills calm down and go take a breather and step away from the keyboard

  • Ms.Ajje

What truth are you people speaking of if you really think Rhianna told you the whole story you people really are idiots. I must admit I do not know what happened that night, but do you really think Chris handed her the phone and just beat the hell out of her for looking at it. Yeah thats what happened.

  • sonya

i agree with your comment ms.ajje

  • http://bossip.com SimplyShay

Ok I really was going to let this go but every time I turn around there is something new. Rihanna is Lying… point blank!!! This is all about the revenge of a women scorn & her career. Everything past the point of the text message was stretched!! She even stated that she had to make a stand or risk loosing her sponsors. She’s a pretty face with little singing talent. The sponsors is a must! Chris on the other hand being that he wanted to take the high road & assume responsibility he never should have done any interviews. But by doing so it just left him open for the kill. Rihanna is crazy & a very good actress of the damsel in distress role. The whole 20/20 thing was a scene from Basic Instinct & Fatal Attraction. Chris had no clue the type of women he was getting involved with. She is way past his boyish puppy love ways. He’s young & having fun. Someone with fame like him girls throw themselves at him twice as hard. Girlfriend or not!! If they do it to married men what makes you think he’s any different. All they see is $$$ signs. So he got caught up!! Is it right… No but it happens. I feel for them both cause the next man she’s with will really hurt her & there want be any interviews on 20/20 because he will be the real Ike Turner. You reap what you sow. As for Chris he will survive but will have real issues when it comes to trust and probably will never allow himself to love/trust any women the way he loved/trusted her. Chris you need a new PR team. ASAP!!! Your album will do ok but it would do a lot better if your team was a little quicker with the whole thinking process.

  • angie

my point is that you need to calm down you try to respond to every damn comment that you do not agree with on here, get over it! every1 is not going to have the same opinion as you and belly aching over that fact is not going to change a thing, you act as if he roughed you or one of your family members up and i know he wont pay any of my bills but im not on here compaining hard for rihanna like i’ll get a paycheck for it but you are

  • angie

^^ im talking to you tracey

@ G Rockz Well lol sorry but a man has never piut his hands on me im so sorry you jump to conclusions so fast

  • No u can’t be boyfriend #2!

~~News Flash~~ Rhi and Chris have moved on…so should everyone else!

  • sonya

    G Rockz Well

you really need to stop assuming sh!t about ppl you do not know, not one man in his life has ever hit me and ive never been in a domestic violence situation either! but besides that you dont know excatly what happened that night in that car the only 2 ppl who know the complete truth are ri and c.b so dont think i’ve been hit by a man just because im not completly buying rihannas story and screaming team riri like you

  • emma

Chris is still im a fan. you said sorry so many times, and is paying the price for his action. I think riri will sell more tho.

  • Jem

Forgive me for what I am about to say, But Rihanna is full of horse crap. I love her style, but that is where it ends. She knew old dude was cheating, she didn’t need him to say the words. We as woman know in our gut when something aint right. You don’t need anyone to tell you different. She is whack.

  • http://msn Damn!

I like them both…but as an adult something just does not sit right with me….I have a gut feeling there is more to the story and I’m just not buying her entire story. I think a lot of people out here may not be CB fans but for some reason her story/this story is just simply not adding up…I don’t condone any violence but I refuse to believe it’s not more to the story…she doesn’t strike me as an innocent victim at all…I’ve never been a victim of domestic violence either…but I’m going with my gut feeling on this one…and RiRi in my opinion is not being 100% honest. I’m willing to bet also that if he gets over her and moves on with someone else and it becomes serious….you will hear more from her and she’ll be causing chaos. She comes across cold/mean/and very uncaring…doesn’t seem like a victim at all.

  • CanadianChick

    okay great.. we are done.

  • Just Putin’ It Out There!

Talk about his so-called scripted apology…What about those scripted answers to the questions the she was asked…

Sorry was only a minor fan of Chris Brown…and never grooved to Rihanna music (her music was too bubblegum and then it went way to dark for my liking)… but when she answered the question about why she decided to leave him for good…I personally didn’t feel that she was sincere…and I understood her “public persona” approach…but to pitch the “I couldn’t take if is a young girl was killed” …that dagger was a strong statement…DIDN’T FEEL THE SINCERITY (eyes/bodylanguage/emotionless)…but that was a strong statement…

I at least hope that one of them (during this medial blitz)will delve into the “triggers” of what happened that night…and the triggers (signs) that they both ignored during their relationship…

I got to agree with you there. And most on here are probably grown all up in these KIDS face. Give it a break already!

I am able to not look at others personal lives and look at the business. That said, CB is more talented than Rih is. It’s not rocket science it’s the truth. I don’t care what he did and I don’t care about what she did. As long as I’m entertained, I got to much on my plate to be worrying about them. Worry about YOURSELVES and YOUR OWN families. CB, you got my vote based on what I know you can do: PERFORM!

  • tony

You can shut the hell up yourself TRICK! You spewed nothing but IGRNORANCE in your comments because all you care about is whose album outsells the other??? Wow.

Yeah the media hypes things up, but again those two people and GOD knows the truth and if Rhianna wants to tell her side THEN SHE’S ENTITLED TO DO SO! They both are probably lying but he can’t sit back and say the details should have been kept private when he’s going around telling his ONE SIDED side of the story! What sense does that make???

  • Mrs_T_N_DC

I am sure that both will sell. In general, the public has a short memory. I do sincerely hope that this incident raises awareness about domestic violence.

  • Bay.beeFace

I don’t know about the rest of y’all but I plan on getting BOTH albums.

  • bc

I think it’s awfully funny that both of their albums are coming out and they’re just not know really opening up about it ummm….

  • Not-a-Mistake

The next time some 19 or 20 year old man beats on his momma, grandma, or someone you really cares about remember to forgive him and say “It’s just a Mistake.” You just have to check your head at some of these people and consider yourself blessed. The dysfunctional responses and inability to know wrong from right is just astounding and pathetic. You can chop it up to their poor upbringing, low self-esteem or worth.

  • Not-a-Mistake

    @2dimplzs
You hit the nail on the head talking to SofaKing. However, dysfunctional people view the world thru a kaleidoscope. Whereas, they have a tendency to try and twist wrong into right. It has to do with their upbringing & experiences which leads to lack of self-worth and low self-esteem, and being poorly educated. They are so full of hate and anger with distorted views of the world that trying to reason and explain what should be simple to them is just “A Big Waste Of Time.”

  • nieka

im getting chris he is one hell of performer..dont like what he he but he is trying to make a mends and grow he said sorry so many damn times i’m sick of hearing it and he got want the judge thought was good for a first time felon..if you dont like get over it be mad at the judge.. i like seeing people bmake themselfs better as a person and he is doning just that so i hope chris sells more

  • NaNa

Assault is not a mistake! It is a deliberate act and a crime!! Let’s not get it twisted. Chris Brown pled guilty to assaulting Rihanna. Now, he’s trying to do damage control and send out a message to say: STFU Rihanna, this should be between me and you. Don’t tell the world the truth, or what I did to you. I don’t care about you, all I care about is my myself and my career. (It kills me not to be able to control you and world anymore.) Most cowards/goons try to control the black community with that “Don’t Snitch” Crap. The are just cowards afraid of the consequences of the truth, because they will go to jail and be made somebody’s B*otch! It’s not about snitching or throwing somebody under the bus. It’s about telling the truth. Chris Brown is a *&&&&! who’s afraid of the truth.

  • SpeakOut

Read the message. Good start Chris Brown. But don’t tell Rihanna it should be private. Most victims do suffer in silence. It is speaking out that helps the healing and break the choke-hold and pattern of abuse. Telling RiRi to keep it private is kinda like a subliminal message to control her for you sake. Not hers, but yours…at least this is what it leads some of us with greater insight to believe. Set her free, and let her speak out about her experience. The matter was no longer private once the public enforcement (law), D.A., and world at large became involved. You didn’t make your previous relationship and music private, so how dare you tell RiRi to basically shut up for your sake? Set her free, and let her help others by connecting with them regarding her own experience.

  • http://bossip Truth Teller

The message that Chris released is very cryptic for those that read in between the lines.Chris states he wishes her well and that he appreciate her “support”.

Why would Rihanna support someone she says has “no soul”,which is hella funny coming from someone that knocked her own brother upside the head with a glass bottle.I would never think of hurting my brother like that because I love my brother.

Rihanna went back to Chris soon after the incident even though she CLAIMS that kid has a dark heart, yet she admitted that it was the “sponsors” threat of pulling her from ads, that really motivated her to leave Chris.Rihanna is very bitter person and she desperately wants Chris.Rihanna was very very possessive of Chris,so I know she’s going out of her mind wondering about what girls the boy is with.

I don’t like Rihanna but I do feel that Jay-Z is the main one who is pushing Rihanna to talk about Chris because he’s jealous his side piece fell in love with that kid because he thought his “EGO” would keep her in check.

For those PERFECT people that judge Chris, all I got to say is—-”Often the HARSHEST critics are often the BIGGEST HYPOCRITES”.

  • cherokee23

And putting out there what she did would only make him look bad.

  • http://bossip Truth Teller

Some of these people have me LMAO at their scenarios.Chris has not beat up your mother, brother or your sister,so what the hell are you talking about.

  • Cindy

we all know about that Rhianna Jay-zee story i only hope 20/20 and the others know about it as well then Judge!! Judge!! Judge!!/

  • white male

I listened to that interview and it sounds like he should be happy he didn’t get any jail time.

  • http://bossip mybaad

cmon.. nobodys over it.. HAHA!!>>> laffn @ u

they both talkin around what happened…

CB tryna say.. stfu b4 he tell what really went down :P HAHA!!

  • Angel

I find it strange how he constantly keep saying he will talk full responsibility for his actions. As if he has to convince himself of that.

  • memchee

he really screwed up with the LK interview….

I can’t see him coming back from that; because most ears with an ounce of sense saw a stubborn kid who did not and appeared to be unwilling to come to terms with what he had done…….aside from accepting responsibility.

  • Seriously

How blacked-out can he be, if he’s able to focus on driving without wrecking but beating this woman at the same time. Wow! Not only that, he had the mind to tuck tail like a coward and hide-out. I think that he was in such a rage, like most abusers, that he just commence to beating RiRi because he was afraid of being confronted with the truth then (about cheating) and afraid of the truth now, her telling how he beat her. Truth is powerful. It is the enemy of all bullies and goonies with their cronies. lol

  • Brown Goddess

Really, Chris?! WTF you mean it was a “private” matter? The whole world saw that chick broken and bloodied. SMH. Spoken like a guilty woman beater.

I’m LMAO at you Rihanna Stans blowing hella gaskets because Chris said “he wouldn’t speak further on what happened between them. What’s wrong Stans, are you all afraid that Rihanna didn’t tell the whole truth?

If you ask me,Chris spoke like a kid who is trying to protect someone but like they say, “What’s done in the dark, will come to light”.

CHRIS BROWN IS A COWARD AND A PUNK THATS WHY HE DIDNT WANT TO SAY WHAT HAPPENED!!! HE IS NOT GOING TO ADMIT WHAT HE DID HE DOESNT HAVE TOO THE PHOTOS OF RHIANNA’S FACE SAYS IT ALL. I AM GLAD THAT HIS CONCERT DIDNT DO WELL. DOWN GOES CB!!

  • Chioma

What Cb said during the LK interview was that he was respecting Ri-Ri’s wishes and not talking about the details of the situation. Ri Ri is clearly not telling the entire story and the part that is missing is after she saw what was on the cell phone what did she do? we all know that being said that is no excuse but don’t try to pretend like you did nothing wrong at all..

    Chris Brown

  • SashaPierce

they are both wrong- Chris has paid the price though– RiRi is still angry & needed more time before she gave the interview- abuse of any kind is wrong- including being insecure and crazy in a relationship- they are both too young to even be talking to anyone- in 10 years they will look back on this situation & have a totally different outlook

  • Serenity

This is a done deal no one will know what really went on between the two of them. Just like any other HUMAN he has made his mistake and is taking responsiblity for his mistake. Yes it was wrong, but the fact remains NO ONE CAN CHANGE THE SITUATION! If you still like him that is fine if you do not that is fine as well, for everyone is entitled to there own personal opinion. This case needs to rest, for there have been many other entertainers who have been in the same situation, but no one has healed on to the situation as long as this. What if it had not been RiRi, would this still be dragging on? NO and that is SAD to say. We need to get OFF this SOAP BOX and move on for THEY HAVE.
