Now that he’s opened up about his life, it’s time to open up about his sexuality. If celebrity feel like it’s embarrassing to be gay then don’t be.I like Tyler, but you guys know as well as i know that he is straight homo.

Its not that everyone thinks he is blessed now because of his money…in case you missed the memo–Tyler has several plays that teach wonderful life lessons. He has helped lots of people, employed lots of people, and spread his lessons of life/love of God. He has been rewarded money for his hard work. He is blessed none the less because of his achievements. DAMN

His example shows that violence does not always have to beget violence. He could have easy used his father abuse as an excuse the hate, beat or even killed women like some others have done, but instead he chose to take responsibility for his own destiny.

I hate to say this but the reason his father PROBABLY hated him so was he could see a little queen in him. I’m just saying. I know several gay men whose fathers were very abusive toward them at a early age. The crazy thing was they were singled out among siblings. The other siblings or mothers were not even touched. Tyler Perry is a brillant, talented and gifted writer, producer, etc. Praise God for his resilience and ability to overcome the abuse he suffered as a child. His work is truly a joy to watch and experience. Everytime he has a play in Los Angeles I take my mom.

Don’t let anyone hold you back or tell you that you can’t do something. Tyler is living proof that believing in yourself, hard work and persistence pays off. Hats off to Tyler. Please keep up the amazing work.

I totally agree. The end of the movie Family Reunion is my favorite. I was really inspired to start researching my ancestory. Trying to figure out the past and who I’m related to.

On another note, people share as much or as little as they are comfortable with. Some child who is in the same situation as Tyler was may read or hear Tyler’s story and find the courage and strength to keep pushing.

I think that Tyler is an inspiration. There is no reason for this whole ordeal on what his sexual orientation is. Love people, for who they are not for what they look like, or who they like. Everyone acts as though he hasn’t brought attention to the struggles of the black community, and how we as a family oriented people make it through. Just let him do what it is that he do, and make life a little better for those who are going through the struggles that his stories tell of. I mean, somebody out there saw his play and saw the situation that they were in and how to get out of it. Whether he is gay or not, I love him for just being himself and taking the chance on putting these stories out there.
