I want to tell a story: There was a young high school senior who did only what was required of him. Went to school, got good grades, and even managed to become validictorian of his class. Unfortuanately this young man had a sister who was not as ambitious and hanged around less reputible individuals. This young woman commits a crime with these people and in exchange for a lighter sentence testifies against her associates or “snitches”. The associates unable to reach the sister, probably due to the fact she was in police custody, threaten violence on her family. So what do the police do? Do they offer this young man who did only the right thing his whole life some kind of protection? Do they make a statement that says citizens don’t need be afraid to speak against criminals because law enforcement WILL protect them? No, they don’t. They simply allow it to happen. And this Young man could not even attend his own graduation because the school was fearful of violence. So tell me why would anyone want to help ivestigators with any case when they are unwilling to help you afterwards?

i think a big thing that we are forgetting is that there were 9 other witnesses there.
i was blessed to be born and raised in a tolerant southeren town with a healthy mixture of cultures and in my past experience once one person stands up for what is right the rest fall in line. that is the problem with the majority of my peers they think about instant gradification and themselves.
