I am a female who was involved in a domestic violence situation, and based on my own personal experince Chris Brown does seem remorseful for what he did, andI think he is owning up to what he has done and he should be forgiven. His actions were wrong and like he said violence should never be an option, but this young man has had to deal with a very personal matter publicly and I know many would say that this is what he chose by being famous but he is still a child who still has a lot of growing to do. I think he should be able to move on and grow from this, and if rhianna did exert anger and violence towards him sho too should be getting some type of help and she should also be held responsible for her actions. I am not saying that she deserved it because like I said there is never a reason to put your hands on a female, but if she was violent towards him also she should as a woman own up to it.

What I don’t get is…there was not half as much outrage towards R. Kelly when it came to his relationships (if that is what we shall call them) with little children. Right now there is an NFL coach (cuacasion of course) with allegations from multiple women of abuse but he still has his high paying job! Why are they continuing to beat down on this YOUNG man? He made a mistake I get that…but when does a person get to move on from their mistake? That guy I think his name is Polanski slept with a 13 yr old GIRL and has been on the run for like a decade…where is the outrage? Can we please let this man move on with his life already!!

God has forgiven each of us for all that we have done and even for what we will do. Who are we not to offer this same forgivness to someone else, especially a child. When I was 16/17 years old, I was in an abusive relationship. This young man later killed the married boyfriend of his baby’s mother. Now he’s in prison. Had this smart young man been outed for his behaviour and offered the help that Chris has been offered, the man he killed would still be alive and his life wouldn’t be wasting away in prison. Chris has apologized. His apology should be accepted and we should offer this young man our support and help him to get the help that he needs. He has a life ahead of him and all of us can help him live up to his full potential. Turning our backs on him now would have him end up like so many other young black men; lost, destitute, in prison or on drug. If a child has no opportunity at a future, then what does he have?

Rocsi went in too hard on the boy. Chris Brown is 19-20 years old. He has zero language/vocabulary skills. That is why it is so hard for him to express himself he does not know what to say his language is not there. I am not mad at him for being more concerned about his career more than Rihanna. Women come and go but his career is every thing. So you got damn right I would be more concerned about my career than the women who put me in this position. I have no problem with the questions Rocsi was asking. What I do have a problem with is why Rihanna is being asked questions to help boost album sales. Has she ever delt with the issues her father put her through, her questionable lyrics ( umbrella, disturbia,RR) It’s a lot of other question people are asking but we are constantly getting the cover up. Then out of all people you have BET hard on Chris case. Rocsi asked him do he see himself in his step father. No of course not. CB is young, no priors, nothing up until he met Rihanna. So how can you compare him to his father who is probley 50 years old and has been violent the last 25 years of his life. How do you get mad because CB has only just begun life and can not relate to your question. He said his father always beat and verbally abuse him mother. How the hell can an 18 year old relate to that? He has never stated he beat Rihanna on several occasions. The only thing we know is that they had a fight, no priors. I am very disappointed in home wrecking Rocsi. For example BET is mad at CB but it is a clip on the net of Terrence/Rocsi pumping up Jamie Foxx “Blame it” to their family show being very sarcastic saying things like oh yeah vote that video on the count down that is the video” the clip made the net because people noticed the way they were hyping up the use of alcohol on a family show. Another example “wasted” CB punched Rihanna and we do not know if Rihanna has ever hit him and I would say she has. Songs like “blame it”” wasted” and shake it fast Beyonce are fatal blows to society. So if you are going hard on CB you need to take a look at the damage BET spews. It is such a shame Rocsi is mad because the boy smiles be for real. In CB defense he does not seem to be the sharpest tool in the box his language and vocabulary is not there. Taking responsibility doesnt always mean going to jail. He has pretty much done everything he could possibly do to show he owns up to his actions. Anybody who says that going to jail is the only way to show remorse is an idiot. It’s not my job to like him because of his personal life. I’m pretty sure ALL of these celebrities have something to hide about their personal lives. Rocsi is not a great interviewer BUT she asked the right questions!! Finally, someone got Chris to let his female fans know it’s NOT OK for a man to get violent. Cici isn’t the public humiliation he’s going through enough? The constant shut-down attitude everyone shows him, isn’t this punishment? People who expect some sort of sincerity from him, knowing damn well it doesn’t effect them or their livelihood whether he gives it or not. This is a public spectacle but really none of our business. The point is that he’s being responsible in showing the world that he knows what he did was wrong and that he doesn’t want others to repeat it. That is what he owes to society, point blank period. Jail is a legal form of punishment, the boy is suffering in more ways than that.

Not to mention, each and every one of us do illegal things at one point or another, whether we like it or not. So Cici, why don’t you own up and pay your debt to society? The judicial standard for persecution isn’t necessarily the right one.

For one thing, he wasn’t given any jail time. So, there’s nothing anyone can do about that. So let him deal with the punishment he was given.

Second, how many times does a person have to apologize? It seems no matter how many times you do, it’s never enough! I know what he did was terrible, and I would never condone what he did. But everybody deserves a second chance!

And I wish they would get rid of Rosci. How she treated Chris was uncalled for. A homewrecker like her should never be so critical of anyone else. Especially one who spends her time laying on their back with somebody’s husband!!

I’m very proud of the sincere, deep thought, open, way Chris handled that interview. He’s growing up and he’s really trying to make the effort to change. I don’t condone what he did but I commend him for doing his best to make amends for the wrong he’s done and he’s making the effort to be a better man. They were talking about this on CNN. And it was confirmed that Chris got the same punishment as any other American would. He was a first time offender, so he was likely to avoid prison. But probation is serious, if Chris does any little thing such as stealing sweets, swearing, behavioural misconduct etc he will go into prison facing five years. No joke, but people like you are so ignorant and think they are expects of the legal system. When you are not.

First and foremost, I don’t need to get an “A” for writing an essay on a blog…I got plenty of them from SDSU where I got my Engineering degree…As far as him being punished, I feel as though anyone who feels like calling him out on being an abuser is justified!!
