The common elements I see are the dark shades and the angled haircut…neither of which are remotely unique (or trends started by) Rihanna.

That’s why it’s a BLOG — different opinions. MJ was creative, but I simply don’t think his work in the ten years prior to his death, matches the quality of the work done from roughly ’82 TO ’95.

Beyonce didn’t insult the Jackson family. She only repeated what she heard MJ say about his own father. What gets me is that plenty of other people, including black people, have said stuff about the Jacksons. Before MJ died on black radio stations and on tv, I would hear people make jokes about him and his family. I’ll never forget a bunch of awful jokes I heard Chris Rock say about MJ being a child molester. Lil Wayne called hig a fa**ot in some footage. We all know how sensitive MJ was about being called g*y. Not that he had anything against g*y people, but he wasn’t. Yet the only thing that people can say is that Beyonce insulted his family, just because she repeated what MJ said. Well, she said it before MJ passed, and he never said anything was wrong with what she said.
