The former bodyguard to stars such as Mariah Carey, Diddy and Jay-Z was shot and killed by the police during a brawl over the weekend in New York.

The brawl which took place at Norwood Palace in Cypress Hill, erupted around 3 AM. As police officers arrived on the scene, Kevin White was spotted holding a gun. Officials claim that the police screamed at him several times to drop the weapon, and but he did not.

Kevin was fatally shot in the neck and a police source said surveillance video showed he was shooting at the cops. Relatives of the bodyguard said he had just wrestled the gun away from a patron, and he would never carry a gun.

Kevin who was 43, had a rap sheet which included five arrests for weapon possession, some of which, could have come from him working with celebrities over the years.

Same dreads have been slanging chocolate & greens for the past 10 years right across the street from Norwood Palace and ain’t never been shut down. FYI that same day 17 hours later someone was ran over right in front of the cops guarding the crime scene….

    I still DO NOT understand how police officers trained in INCAPACITATING criminals still shoot at the neck or the heart…..it is ridiculous and equal to murder.

    I hate to see another brother lose his life getting entagled with the criminal justice system, but from the looks of it, the stage was set for tragedy.

    Why didn’t he put the gun down when Police showed up. He must know how trigger happy NY Police are known for being. Heck, they shoot people WITHOUT weapons. Sorry this had to happen to him. My sympathy goes out to his family. God Bless
