XZIBIT’s newborn baby son Xavier Kingston, who was born prematurely, died yesterday – just days after being born. Xzibit shares his pain on his myspace page:
“As you all know, I shared with you the announcement of my newborn son, Xavier Kingston Joiner, on May 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurely. Well, this week was extremely difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own.
Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30 a.m. and I must tell you this; it is unnatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when I’m having a great time — life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them, and show them you love them every day you wake up and see them, don’t take a second you get to hug them, teach them, and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the world, but it is NOTHING compared to having your family.
I am thankful for all of my blessings and I’m not one to question God’s perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for all the love that was sent earlier on my previous blog to my son. Of course, I need to take some time and handle my loss. STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. It’s not promised to any of us.”
The loss of a child is truly devastating. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go out to Xzibit and his family at this time.

Damn man!! I wish Xzhibit and his family the best. It is definately a tragedy and I pray that they are able to eventually repair the damage this has and probably will cause and try again for another child when the time is right. Keep GOD in your heart and in your home Xzibit and all will be fine.

It’s so ridiculous when you read sad news like this and you pop over to comment and you still see these unnecessary post about him having an account at or promoting some online date site, that seems so inappropriate and unnecessary.
X is right, no one should ever have to bury their child. I LOVE MY DAUGHTER… I could not imagine. I pray that god grants X and his family the peace that surpasses all understanding..BIG UPS TO X FOR BEING A MAN AND BEING THERE FOR HIS FAMILY…HE’S KEEPING IT REAL RIGHT NOW!!! I had a similiar situation happen, but I delievered the child at 21 weeks, too early for his lungs to have developed. He lived for only 20 minutes. I pray X’s family can heal from this tragedy the way I eventually did.

My niece was 715 grams when my sista had her. She was also 6 months, and she survived. She was in the hospital for 5 months, and now she is home. God is good!!!

my heart goes out to you man i know how tough it can be. well from a childs side of it ITS TOUGHT O BURY A PARENT TOO. its hard to part with anyone you love , for this amount of time but i do know where theres a way theres a GOD, and we’ll all meet again soon. if my moms didnt teach me the word of god id be even more lost than i am now without her.
i went through it but i had to go through that fire because God had prepared me all my life for that moment and the devil was waiting to “get my hedges removed” (job)

This is really very sad and it just makes my heart hurt. I have a 2 yr old and now I can look at him and smile, but when he was born and his umbilical cord wuz wrapped around his throat….dat was a devastating moment and I coudln’t imagine loosing a child. I’m on my 2nd now and I really pray 4 this man and his family and especially the mother cuz there is no love like a mother and her child. She must be goin thru it…I’ll say a special prayer 4 her. Keep your head up X, GOD does everything 4 a reason

I’ve always liked X. I’ve had the opportunity to kick it with him a few years back and he seems to be a really sincere person. My heart goes out to people that suffer and endure such a tragedy as having to look down upon your child for the last time. I just cannot imagine that. We all know that the creator knows the ultimate reason but still…only time can heal such an insurmountable wound.

I gave birth to a son Kingston Reese on 21 April and he was 12 weeks premature so I know his pain and how special these children are. My Kingston is doing well but I have been holding my breath since his birth
That is horrible. I feel for him. I have lost a child and it really is the worst thing ever.
