I’m sitting here grinnin’ like a chesire cat ’cause I KNOW what you typed is true! It’s parents like yours that force us to be parents that care about the safety and welfare of our own! You know your mother loved you but she had what we call “tough love” and I’m positive you respect and cherish her for that!

@SouthernBelle 4get being outside, I wished I would’ve asked my mama to look out da damn window..LMAO. At 13 my ass had better been in bed by 9:30 sharp and if she woke up at 10 the TV better not have still been hot…LOL

And on dis subject…where n da hell is dez kids parents???Honestly, you can’t have gud parenting skills if ur kid is out shooting or being shot at when its dark outside. And I just know somebody’s parents cuddled them when they came n da house with a shot up thigh and it “wasn’t your fault baby”…YEAH RIGHT

I got shot in my foot with a BB gun playin on da corner 1 day and when I went home looking 4 sum sympathy my mama told me that’s what my ass get cuz she tol me not 2 be on da corner with them hood azz chirren (not children but chirren) then told me she wished it wuz a real gun so then I wud’ve learned a lesson cuz dat lil BB ain’t hurt.

In the video game world, you always can get more lives… In reality death is finite, so kids that have grown up in the video game world has no sense of the finality of death…

Sadly, this happens all over America everyday. Where in the hell are the parents who brought them in the world? Parents have a responsibility to raise & teach these kids as soon as they come out of the wound. This is ridiculous. What are these kids even doing with guns? They need to pick up a book something that can change their lives for the better & put these guns down & stop this deadly foolishness. Black people are the enemy of themselves & I am speaking from the heart because I am black. We need to wake up people as if Hurricane Katrina wasn’t enough to wake everybody that was asleep up. We need God, Prayer & common sense. Stop hating, hurting & killing each other. WE need to raise & teach our children ALL of our children. Where did this self hate and self destruction come from? It starts at the root with the parents. A lot of young women are having children out of wedlock when they should be getting their education. Run behind a book not a boy because boys aren’t going anywhere. Have some love & respect for yourself. If you love your babies, leave them in Heaven until you get your education & get your life together. Stop depending on welfare & the Government. It’s hard out here, but it’s hard for a lot of people, but you have to be aggressive in a good way & work hard it will pay off in the end. The decisions you make in life now will effect you until the end of your life. Our children deserve better & it’s in our hands to give them better. The First 48 A & E series is a prime example of why we as black people need to stop the madness & get our lives, our children & our act together.

5 people were shot in Chicago as well in a short period of time. Two were killed including a 15-year-old girl…..sad, sad, sad…but this is everyday. As much as everyone supports Barack Obama, I have heard him say nothing about the uptick in violence on his own senatorial turf. it appears the problems of the inner city are not on any candidates radar…too worried about the votes of those “hard working whites” i guess. someone needs to make this an issue and fast.

i dont think folks are feefling sorryfor the criminals.. amybe they feel bad that they had to turn that way but sorry no.. no more than in the white community all the child molestation and priests molesting little boys and dads molesting their own kids… and that is a high percentage in the white community… yeah blacks have crime im not saying they dont… but i know in Chicago especially when jeff fort lead the black p stone nation… they had memebers walking the streets to protect the women at children at night to make sure they didnt get mugged raped or no kids got molested!
