B im sorry but i was not pleased AT ALL! First off, whats up with the play guns and blank shots coming out looking like they’re in a paint ball match.
2.) it was ALOT of improv going on. I was hoping to see more routine dance moves.
3.) GaGa looked well doing the dances but was kinda stiff
4.)Bey needs to step her cookies up, because this vid looked like a first grader made it!!!

Whenever beyonce go in on a song with someone, I swear she only has them there so she can either outdo them, or prove that she can do their thing at least as well as them. Look at beautiful liar, with Shakira. Wack song, wack video, but Shakira got that gyrating thing on lock so Beyonce had to match or try to outdo her.

The good points were the beautiful bright and bold colors and the different hairstyle looks from the 50s era to these current times. Lady Gaga just seemed to not fit quite well (she seems cool & bold), but it just looked like she was having seziures & convulsions more than she was dancing almost awkward. I didn’t understand the use of the toy guns (what was the purpose???)and it just seem to not have any concept alot going on: camera head men, masked men w/nice bodies ect. It was just okay to me, but better than the 3 woman routine.

Hmmmm, still not sure how I feel about the video just yet! May have to watch it again! Im definitely a Beyonce fan, but I must admit, I really expected more from this video! Now I did like Lady GaGa in the video, and the part where they were dancing with the chairs in the white, was sooo hott to me! But the rest of it was like, uhhhhhhh, not so sure about! Like the waterguns and like somebody else said, the improv dancing…that’s kind of getting old! But on a brighter note, I love the song! Just expected more from the video!

What saddens me most about Beyonce,is, she is regarded as an artist who is at the top of the music game, yet, since dangerously in love, she has not put out anything of substance. I believe, Beyonce has the power to put a spotlight on artist who can truly sing without having to wear a leotard in order to sell their music; yet, by watching and listening to the music Beyonce has put out over the past two years, it makes one think Beyonce contributes to the stereotype of artist needing a gimmick in order to move records.

I honestly believe Beyonce is one of the last if not only artist left who can truly entertain and sing, it just disheartens me, to see Beyonce in a video like this looking as common as a groupy or “video ho”. Although, I understand Beyonce has earned the right to do what she wants in music/videos, I feel, Beyonce has a bigger obligation to help save the integrity of music and artist who can really sing.

I say leave the songs/videos of non-substance to those artists who need a gimmick.

Lady Gaga was not out of place. She sounds great and looks even better. Her dance moves were just as on point as Bey’s. It’s a catchy tune, like most of her songs, yet it was lacking originality. Poor Beyonce, her career is officially over. that was really soft ***** as everyone is saying. I had the pleasure of delivering a fruit tray and some water per one of her riders to a gig she had about a year ago in atlanta. Unfortunately there was lots of traffic and we were late arriving. Okay, my 2 cents:

I typically love Beyonce. She’s a fantastic performer, sings great live (hard feat for artists today), and works hard.

That being said, this video was not a reflection of hard work or creativity. This is not to say it was easy to make.

This video looked like they took all of the “coolest” things and put them all together, i.e

The toy guns (were they imitating the Abu Ghraib scene with the prisoners and the face covers???)

Hot girl on a motorcycle with a pony tail and gun

Etc.

It was like Beyonce overload. The split picture with her in the background, the strobe effect visuals of her, AND the main scene all in one…good grief! I don’t think any of her video’s are about the song…

I was disappointed because I love all of Lady GaGa’s videos and they are usually very artful, I thought Beyonce was going to do a Gaga esque styled video instead she did a video like Green Light. Beyonce always finds a way to bite whoevers on top at the moment. She bit Rihanna’s album cover with a photo she took last year and now she’s biting the slanted bob look with the hair. I swear, this girl is ALWAYS biting somebody else’s style.

I also think she put Gaga on because she’s the “it” girl right now and wanted to out-do her in a video. Notice how plain Gaga looked? She usually has a lot more makeup and her own edgy style, but of course they toned it down, like they used to do with the members of Destiny’s Child, so Beyonce could stand out.

As far as the video itself, I think it’s too much since so many little girls love Beyonce and her videos. It was almost like soft *****. This is exactly why we see babies on Youtube popping their behinds the way they do now. Beyonce needs to consider her audience and stop trying to be some x-rated bimbo for sex appeal.

I liked Beyonce’s very first solo project after that SH*& just went down hill. I don’t like the video although this is the “most normal” that I’ve ever seen Lady GAGA look. The video has nothing to do with the song. Water Guns?? 1,000 different costume changes?? What’s that about? I think that after single ladies video, she just decided to try and keep her budget low and not employ “real” directors and actors for her videos. She’s probably got Jigga rolling the camera, Mama Knowles sewing sheets together to make a back drop, Solange on lights, and Papa Knowles on costumes (we all know how he likes to be hands on) Oh and a few of Jigga’s homeboys to walk down the street with her in the beginning. Uh, who is Lady Gaga? I kept saying to myself that Beyonce could have gotten a better looking white chick for this video. But you say it was a man? Okay. The video is just average. I know one thing. Well, I must say I do like some of the other vids that Beyonce has done, but one has no real meaning. It is silly for the most part. I gues that is what she is trying to say. I do still like her because her slow songs are great. She has a beautiful voice and she is very attractive so it is hard to hate her. I don’t like the video because I have seen this so many times before that it is boring to me. I do like B don’t get me wrong. I am not hating her personally it is what she is putting out on this video. I think she is a very beautiful strong black woman and she is grown and can do what she wants to.

I find that in order to stay in the game you have to copy and keep up with the trends…for example if everyone was to wear orange she would too….it’s pop music and pop is all about being trendy. Like the Prada sneakers that everyone is wearing now…they are ugly but because they say prada these people buy them. I can pick and choose who to listen to. I like her I am Beyonce, but Sasha Fierce is not my taste.

I love the song and I expected so much more from the both of them. I’m a big B fan and all but I’m kinda getting tired of her damn near naked in her videos now, she took it from being cl*****y and simple with Single Ladies to now being really trashy. What is going on in her head nowadays. I expected better co-reography to. I dunno I just expected more, what a disappointment.
