You know the military…. if the grandmother can’t take him what about the father? I didn’t see any mention of him or his family which to the military is option #2 for childcare….can’t feel too sorry for her she signed up for the military knowing this could happen.

  • drenk

well she signed up to fight for white imperialism now shes gotta do it oh well

  • Kami All Day (Haters give me Promo.....)

LOL @drenk….you took the words right outta my mouth!

This is why black people, hispanic and the like need not EVER sign up for the ARMY, NAVY, or MILITARY period. This is NOT our war. No matter how much they try and game you by telling you they will pay for this and that. Tell them to go uckfa off!

I will NEVER fight for this country. As long as I’m still being discriminated against, I’m not fighting no one elses war.

Is that suppose to be her in the photo with the child. The article said infant.

  • Nique

    @Soul Ese

She said she is no longer with th father so Im guessing he’s a deadbeat.

I feel for the girl but at the same time when she signed up for the military(and collect OUR money) what did she think they do?? knit?? She shouldve thought about what all that meant b4 she spread her legs like butter.

EXACTLY! & even if I wasn’t discriminated against, I still wouldn’t fight that war. I mean, what the h.e.l.l are we still in there for? It’s pointless. & don’t even get me started on ALL the MILLIONS being thrown away on the war, when it SHOULD be going to Healthcare for everyone in the US…

I don’t know becuz as a mom I couldn’t fathom the thought of leavin my infant however she knows the rule of joining the military-what I also question is why didn’t she tell them she didn’t have someone to care for the child as opposed to just missing the flight???

This is a useless story. She knew ahead of time she was going to deploy, so she should have made arrangements. There is NO excuse. The government doesn’t care about your family, all they care about is providing bodies to deployment sights. When she signed her name and took the oath she gave up her right to choose in her own faith. You can’t just decide not to deploy. The rules are stricter in the military, they give you a felony, give you jail time, and you recieve a Dishonorable Discharge. If she doesn’t deploy as ordered her life will be a living hell.

She needs to call the baby fathers mother and tell her that she needs to come and get the child ASAP. The grandmother needs to tell her son to step up. It’s not her mothers responsibility, it’s the mother and fathers responsibility. If she wasn’t schooled on military law then she should have never joined the service. It’s her fault.

  • Nique

    @Hannibal

LOL. Whats new?? You STAY in trouble!

  • Sarah

I just find the whole thing f*cking ridiculous! What parent in their right mind would voluntarily submit their children to foster to care so they can go off to an imaginary war. Oh please! I really hope that the individuals that made this woman suffer get what is coming to them.

  • Sanjor

I think alot of these young people sign up for the military for educational purposes. They don’t think that they will be called to war, which is a real reality. I know I will catch some flack on this but if the draft were a reality, and my son was of age, my husband and I have always said we would send him out of the country.

  • Kami All Day (Haters give me Promo.....)

Oh, and boo-boo, PLEASE dont associate me with your downfalls.

I have never been pregnant, nor do I have any kids.

So, who is the real idiot?

    *please go get mirror*

  • pynklyzurd14

sorry about that other post. Idk how the heck I did that… lol

  • http://bossip.com This some Shhh....

    @ Darwin

    I agree on both posts.

The young Lady in the article didn’t handled her business. She had time to plan this out if she wanted to face her responsibility. It is a difficult choice, nonetheless. She knew she had time left on her enlistment and should have gotten her affairs in order. Now the child is with the Grandmother and she is sitting in Military confinement.

  • drenk

    @ Darwin

you know ALL young men wouldnt go, just like before, the wealthy and/or connected would weasel their way out and the ones who would fight are the poor and the minorities, for causes that the wealthy and connected profit from

  • http://bossip.com This some Shhh....

As a matter of fact. When you join the Military, you have access to free Birth control medicine and condoms.

  • nicefellow31

20 year Air Force veteran here. While this is a sad story, she knows the rules. There are thousands of single parents out there doing there job. Not sure what the Army does but the Air Force requires you to set up a dependent care plan if you are a single parent. That plan is reviewed every year. Now she is facing possible legal charges and she has forced someone else to take her place, maybe another singel parent.

  • http://bossip Vickie Brundidge

Well she was receiving the check so now she has to pay the piper – that’s life in uncle Sam’s war

  • dhievah

This is sad. I have no sympathy for her. Sghe knew the rules. How many young people have died in the war? How many children are without a father and a mother because of it? And after that situation in Texas–there are some people who enlisted and are now dead–here at home–having never seen combat. What makes her so different and special? And the pic has the baby looking like a toddler–not an infant..
