As far as black women having such great “pickings”, there are plenty of H-O-M-O-S-E-X-U-A-L men in prison, so why not give a brother whose records are clean a chance, ladies??? Or are you so superficial and shallow that you’d prefer to be with a guy fresh outta the pen than be with a man who has been doing right???….SMH…

Yea that also confused me. I’m NOT going to be a productive member of society while I have my freedom, because freedom is what allows me do the foolishness that I like (to an extent). But when I get locked up in a cage with others that abuses their freedom and do reckless sh!t, I then realize that I should do better. Plus I can get a free education, learn a trade AND find the Lord. Isn’t that fantastic!?
I can’t SMH hard enough. Silly rabbits in the pen.

Prison system is broken. The focus should be on rehabilitation so when they do get out, they can be productive in society. Also, when they get out, their needs to be support systems in place so the transition into society is a little easier.

There are some very intelligent men in prison, and it would be a great service to those who really want to put the B.S. down and get a real life. It’s up to them to do the right thing with the education that they have been so blessed to receive. I have seen many cases where former prisoners cannot get a break due to the lack of education, most programs focused towards them are usually trades- boiler operators, construction, plumbing etc., which is not bad because there is money to be made in those fields.But if a person has that mind to take things up to another level, at least let them have that chance.

Girl…it ALWAYS amazes me how when these brothas go to jail/prison, they THEN find God and what they were supposed to be doing with their life.
