And I don’t fault him for speaking on things, Jay do keep mentioning him in his music–so Dame has every right to do the same. But honestly, these are always going to be the questions he’s asked.

Dame treated his artist better than any other label would have. Jay started gettin dat corporate money and sold everyone out. He sold rocafella right from under dame. And as far as his antics, Jay was/is just as full of himself and money hungry as dame was/is. jay brags about how much dough he has on a track and no one says anything. If you listen to Aaliyah’s songs; Never Givin Up, The One I Gave My Heart To, One In A Million, Choosey Lover, At your Best [original version], More Than A Woman and her singing the National Anthem and even when she did sing At Your Best on Hot 97 as an acapella

you can tell that her voice was smooth but powerful. What you people didn’t know about her was that she was only giving way to SOME of her musical talent and depths NOT ALL OF IT. She had MORE POWER IN HER VOICE THAN SHE LET ON. THAT’S WHY SOME PEOPLE JUST CL*****IFIED HER AS “SOPRANO, SMOOTH, OR LIGHT.” But her voice really would have been a knock out.

If she had of stuck around longer, and had stayed around and did a few more tracks I believe she would have let more of that musical depth she held come out.

Journey To The Past is also a beautiful song, and her voice is more than perfect on that track. Just because she was damn near everything you guys only sat and WISHED you could be that doesn’t mean you should turn around and just try to show so much disrespect to her and what she was doing. That’s childish and uncalled for.
