Hi! I am a single mother of two and glad to know someone cares about us single mothers out here.But a real women as my self will continue to do it on their own.It not bout tha money.Its about tha luv they need,the time spent. Wher i am from money cant buy luv.I think GOD everyday for letting me be tha strong woman i am to take care oy my kids cause wit out GOD n MY father i would have never made it through these hard times.But thanks 50 for you think for us single,indepent women who dont even as for child suport.

so umm… 50 cent decides to give away money to families in need and people have the nerve to turn it into something negative. I mean come on… it’s MOTHERS. You all are acting like he’s having a contest for drug dealers. What you’re failing to realize is that there are CHILDREN who will benefit as well. It’s funny that the main ones who speak negativity about it have like 30 posts on here. Who looks like the ghetto chicken heads??? The “young ladies” (trying to be polite) who have nothing better to do than sit around writing 37 posts bashing single mothers or the single mothers who are on their grind and probally too busy to entertain this silliness? hmmm…

Why can’t we just big up all mothers?

So instead of applauding the single mothers who aren’t relying on the government to feed and clothe their children, we should continue to bash them?

How many non-mothers would right now be in the same shoes as some of the women they are bashing if it had not been for Roe V.Wade?

What’s done is done. There is no use in crying over spilled milk, but the single mothers who are taking care of their responsibilities should not further be antagonized.

@ reazon, the idea of tending to the “lost ones” is not a new idea

Married life is a lot better than being a single mother. Didnt you know that married mothers have on average more money than single mothers? Didnt you know that single mothers are more likely to be in poverty than married mothers?

That’s a good look 50! I would like to start a foundation that helps single mother’s that want to get out of a sh!ty economic situation by paying for them to earn a vocation and pay for their housing while they go to school as well!

It amazes me the level of ignorance on these blogs. Did it ever occur to some of you that the “single women” title can mean different things?

Widowed (husband died)
Divorced (husband no longer)
Married (husband abandoned – abused – committed adultry)
Married (husband is in jail – what ever the reason)
Married (HUSBAND IS IN THE MILITARY/CIA – NOT AVAILABLE)
Single (never married)

Grow up and stop being so judgemental!

I feel this would benefit many mothers & children. However, in reading one of comments in particular she mentioned the women that used birth control should be rewarded… I agree if the mother continues to have more children and making bad choices of the fathers – while she remains in the current state and is not moving forward. BUT for those like myself that yes, have made a mistake and maybe more than one but as a result has obtained an education (having both a Master’s & a Bachelor’s degree) my children have been my motivation… & I am returning to school for my JD. My motto is yes I have made my bed hard & I will lay in only a comfortable bed not just a warm one. So for the single mother’s it is possible you can do it & let your children be your motivation to be successful and show them that despite a bad choice or decision a good thing can always blossom out of a bad situation.
