Fellas, ya’ll know we love you! Machomotor mouth and all. But do you know the art of seduction? Do you ever show your lady your “softer side?” Okay so the term “softer side” in no way depicts a sense of mannishness – given the name alone – but it works, guys. While you may be the man who can turn a woman out with your beastly bedroom tricks, it’s not always the route to a woman’s heart. Sure, manhood is often defined as the ability to display strength, endurance and stroke power, however, a man after a woman’s heart knows that he must stimulate her mentally and the physical will follow. Intimacy – the ability to make a woman weak at her knees at the sound of your voice or the feel of your breath on her neck and in her ears – sensuality, in itself, is one of the greatest turn-ons for a woman. Women crave closeness and partnership, so if you’re not serious about building a bond with a special lady, this list will mean nothing to you. Don’t go using these tips to simply get a girl “open,” there is such a thing called love karma. So fellas, ask yourself, are you into the smash down or are you into the building process? Are you leaving an impressive impression or are you simply soiling the sheets? Don’t forget women get bored too and in order to keep her, you have to show her more of yourself than your sexual prowess. Guaranteed, if you do this, your feet on the table and the Monday night football coma, can be easily overlooked if you bring your A-game every once in a while! Yes, it is hard in the begining almost like a withdrawal per se (if one was use to be intimate on a daily basis with their woman or man)but after awhile its all good. I don’t even miss it.     I applaud that you are having self respect for not doing the dirty and I understand from what I read why.
    I have a friend that has gone 15 yrs. She told me because that is so sacred to her, she wants to wait until Mr. Right comes along. She is heavily into her church and religion. O.K.
    But she also admitted through those yrs. of waiting she has now put together an unattainable “checklist” (IMO) for Mr. Right. She feels because SHE waited she deserves EVERYTHING she wants. She is going to be 43 in Jaunuary.

    So, my question is: By waiting to do the dirty, aren’t you setting yourself up for lonliness and isolation? I mean, you have created a standard of the man and relationship that will be worthy of your goodies. And no one will ever be able to live up to it.

    @TWISTED SISTA-*waves hello* Thank you and WOW! well I am deep into church, however their was a time that I gave into my flesh and fornicated with my ex-boyfriend(s). Now, for me I just didn’t feel right about and truly examined myself as a child of God and made that decision. However, I am aware of relationships the ups and downs. Prior to celebacy I did have unrealistic expectations when it comes to men, because for years I was a perfectionist in many things brought on by a harsh teach from HS.

    It is a huge misconception that those who are celibant are lonely when it is quite the opposite for me, b/c I still have a great life from church, church friends, to just friends in general. I have great male and female friends where I can go out with and just have a great time. I think it can only be lonely if a person feels that he or she can not control his or herself around the oppposite sex or get overly zealous which the word talks on that can cause someone to be extreme and closed off.

    Well, though it would be nice to find a brotha that would fit the list “to a t,” (& I’m speaking for myself here) I know that I am not perfect. For some people they think sex is the end all be all in a relationship its a bonus to a relationship, but at the end of the day you have to be able to connect w/that person mentally, have a great time with and converse with.     I have been doing a lot of teasing, kissing, communicating, being spontaneous and lots more guys. It works a lot and my gal is head over heels madly in love with me for wat I have been doing to her dat the men she used to date before me weren’t doing. It has worked a lot guys for her to love me even more everyday.     Last year, my friend’s condo development had a NYE party in which her neighbors took turns all night hosting parties in their homes, replete with food, drinks, and lots of music. It was a very eclectic group, and I had an absolute ball dancing and laughing with very interesting people. One neighbor even had a disco ball, and a playlist of hundreds of songs (mostly old school cl*****ics, which I love). Afterwards, I spent the night at my friend’s place with another friend, and the next day she cooked a New Year’s Day dinner for us.

    I used to get dolled up and go out on the town for NYE, but I don’t find that as appealing anymore — unless it’s at a smaller venue, like a lounge. I prefer an intimate evening with people I love.

    I do want to celebrate the new year in another country one day. I haven’t done that yet.

    It’s easy to bowl, man…It’s just like anything else, you just have to practice….I’m really good at “Darts” too, but I can never find anyone to play with unless I go to the Country club….

    I will say though, when you are truly in love with someone and on “that” level. The dirty can be a beautiful thing. It’s totally different than just a cheap thrill. I understand wanting the all encomp*****ing relationship. And I think that’s what you guys are getting at.

    I was no angel before marriage and my marriage isn’t perfect but if your BOTH willing to stick with it through the good, bad and ugly for totally unselfish reasons, it’s totally worth it.

    Again, I applaud you and Pynk for having the self discipline, self respect and maturity to realtionships and such seriously. And just like I tell my friend, absolutely GOD will bring the right one to you, just open your eyes and just be willing to trust him.     I’m smiling all the time, even on “negative” days. I think loving someone in and of itself insinuates some sort of commitment.

    No matter how you look it, in practice today marriage is a business contract that isn’t necessary to express your love for someone. IMO.

    I am a firm believer in building the process. See some of us men don’t know how to seduce or romance a woman, because all they know how to do is just hit it hoping she’s pleased. I will never leave any woman I deal with in doubt that what she just witnessed was less than a genuine experience.
