Yea,,, I love Kanye 2 DEATH!! But the first video ((I think)) where the chick gets out the car & sets a fur coat on fire or what have u,,, that was dumb, I wasn’t feeling that. oh my god are you ppl that slow to not get the 1st and 2nd video? The song (first off) the song is about Kanye cheating and he gets busted by the paps. So the first one is Kanye getting stuffed in the trunk of the car on some waiting to exhale *****. And the second video is a model chick waking up smoking a cigarette, making a mimosa, drinking coffee, still hung over from last night while eating a a heavily buttered egg WTF. Now the third video is too simple… He was re-creating luv 2 luv u by Timbaland & Magoo lol. Naw but that was a lil off.

P.S. ***** what ya’ll saying about JHud outfit bet you would still hit.

Anyways, his video was a little creepy at first. I started to enjoy it near the end. The first one is pretty cool. I didn’t expect it too be so gritty.

hes been doing this…he writes hits and since he is Def Jam/Rocafella’s #1 guy right now..he can pull whatever budget he wants for however many videos..i think what was hot about all 3 is that they are completely different and if they make sense to the artist then thats what matters….

I’m with you. I’m tired of ***** and diamonds (don’t forget cars and designer gear) too. But this video is not deep, nor is it artistic. The first one stood out. Even though there was plenty T&A on display, it was different. Simple, yet powerful. However, Kanye will look back on this bull ***** with tremendous regret. He is diluting his art. I don’t know where he is going, but he is not evolving, he is just getting silly.

I feel like Kanye is trying too hard but I give him credit for always trying to be original, not that he always achieves it. The song itself is really amazing. But he needs to hire a real director, someone who create a storyline that actually matches the premise of the song. Morbid stuff like getting killed by a big booty chick or this new one where everyone is dead or the second video where the girl gets attacked, come on, none of that matches the idea of the song. I know that he can do better. That’s all.

For real, I think Kanye is trying to transcend hip hop. I mean, his beats, his fashion shopping trips to Europe, his videos. He is trying to be very artful in his cinematography. You ever been to his blog page? He has, like, two videos for every song. Some are good and some are, straight up puzzling! But, I hope he don’t stop. What makes hip hop great today is, like, there are those few artist that are NOT following the trend of thug music and life style. The game needs MORE independent thinkers that do they own thing and not ‘Pac’s thing and not 50’s thing.
