I mean, his beats, his fashion shopping trips to Europe, his videos. He is trying to be very artful in his cinematography. You ever been to his blog page? He has, like, two videos for every song. Some are good and some are, straight up puzzling! But, I hope he don't stop. What makes hip hop great today is, like, there are those few artist that are NOT following the trend of thug music and life style. The game needs MORE independent thinkers that do they own thing and not 'Pac's thing and not 50's thing. For real, I think Kanye is trying to transcend hip hop. The song itself is really amazing. But he needs to hire a real director, someone who create a storyline that actually matches the premise of the song. Morbid stuff like getting killed by a big booty chick or this new one where everyone is dead or the second video where the girl gets attacked, come on, none of that matches the idea of the song.
