Welcome to Hussy High
Posted by Bossip Staff
This high school better start making birth control a mandatory subject:
“A state public health official is urging Gloucester officials to take swift and decisive action, including allowing prescription birth control, to curb a spike in teen pregnancy among students at Gloucester High School, where a record 17 girls are pregnant.”
Damn, these ho’s got home-room looking like a lamaze class ‘n’ sh*t. Now who ever heard of that many triflin’ ass teenagers getting knocked the hell up around the same time?? Where are their parents in all this? It truly baffles the mind. SMH.

Why isn’t anyone speaking to the young men who are getting them pregnant. Let’s not let them off the hook!
I almost want to ask what ethnicity these girls are…but I think I know. Let’s just say their hair is almost always wet….
And Bossip, what the Hell? Why are they all tenneage ho’s? Cut that out…
Clearly these girls have no real guidance in their life, which speaks volumes about the kind of teachers who teach at these schools, and the people in their community. You can try to start with these kids about birth control, but until the community comes together, they’ll just continue leading aimless lives.
*teenage* spell check*
17?? That’s it? When I graduated, atleast 40 percent of the girls at my school were pregnant….black, hispanic, white, arab, asian, low-cl*****, middle cl*****, high cl*****; everybody was gettin it in. Now that was some ***** to talk about. 17?? In my most sarcastic voice “wow. Or as others would soon say-What is the world coming to?” or “Where are the parents?” or “These children don’t know what there doing.” ehhh
maybe it was a hell of a party they all attended and that ONE knucklehead, with super sperm got them all good!? oooh, that’s some dna shyt i would pay to see! but if the little hookers are all about the same months, they need to check the guest list at THAT one house party they all sho’nuff attended! SMH .. damn! my high school had two [2] pregnant chics out of 2,309 kids and we all would look at them like HOW IN THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN!? back way when, when kids were a bit more naive
Where is Gloucester ?
Sex ed starts at home. If a girl or boy cannot talk to a parent, someone better educate them because this is ridiculous. I cosign with you Indigo regarding these young boys. They need to learn to be responsible too since it takes two to make a baby. Guys are always getting a free p***** when they need to suit up as well. I don’t even care if more birth control is available to girls. In this day of HIV/AIDS and teen pregnancy, these guys need to protect themselves as well.
@circa-81 <– WHAT IN THE HELL TYPE OF SPECIAL ED SCHOOL [cause those kids were always more freaky then the regular kids] DID YOU ATTEND! HOW ARE ALMOST HALF THE GIRLS PREGNANT? and what kind of pure hormonal water were they serving you guys! DAYUMMM!
BIRTH CONTROL PILLS ARE JUST AZ WORSE AS MOTHERS BEIN PERMITED IN THIS SICK BACKWARDZ AZZ WORLD TO KILL THEIR UNBORN CHILD. THE BEST WAY FOR A GIRL NOT TO GET PREGNANT IS FOR HER LEGS TO STAY CROSS LIKE A LADY UNTIL A REAL MAN COMES ALONG AND IS READY TO HELP HIS WOMAN NOT GIRL BE A MOTHER AND TAKE CARE OF HIS CHILD. A CHILD AND LIFE IS A GIFT FROM GOD…AND PPL ABUSE LOVE AND NOT ONLY LIFE FOR THEIR SICK PLEASURES IN JUST WANTIN TO LAY DOWN WITH SOMEONE FOR THE PLEASURE OF IT WHEN LOVE MAKIN IS MUCH DEEPER THAN A QUICK PUMP….ABORTIONS…ABANDON CHILDREN…WOULDNT EXIST IF NOT ONLY PPL GAVE MORE RESPECT TO GODS GIFTS…LIFE.&..LOVE…. GIVIN A GIRL BIRTH CONTROL PILLS IS LIKE GIVIN AN 11YR.OLD BOY A CONDOM NIETHER PROTECTS YOU FROM FATAL OR SICK CONSEUQENCES BUT LOVE WILL. SEX IS BAD BECAUSE ITS ONLY FOR PLEASURE AND CARRIES MOSTLY SAD AND BAD CONSEQUENCES. LOVE MAKING IS GOOD BECAUSE IT GOES DEEPR THAN THE PLEASURE OF IT. AND LOVE WILL NEVER HURT OR KILL YOU.
it might be one of the male teachers that got them pregnant… u neva know.
This is sooo sad to me. And your right Indigo these little *****s need to be held accountable too! I will personally work hard so that a little girl knows there is something more to life than laying under some dude! I found out today that one of my students in my cl***** big sister had a baby last week. The older sibling is only 15! I did not even know she was pregnant. I pray for a community of people to stand in the gap because these parents are not taking care of their kids.
Yea,,, truly WHERE ARE THE PARENTS!!!!???? The parents of both the young ladies & gentlemen???!!! They should be ashamed of themselves, the school shouldn’t have 2 do anything. JUST PLAIN PATHETIC!!!!
U Go Head Ms. Knowledge,,, ***Nodding My Head***
Gloucester, M*****achusetts. I went there last summer, to Cape Ann. I can’t even believe that. That area seemed so stush but I guess you never can tell.
@ circa-81… Maybe this high school only had 18 girls in their cl*****! lol
@ QT
T.C. Williams. Home of the Titans i.e. movie. Suburbs of D.C. I guess we just ain’t do no bull*****tin’. We went straight to business. I got so much ***** in my senior year than most dudes my age got in their life… and I’m 27 years old.
@VA666
Nahh you talking probably it would be around 250 girls that were pregnant. Because if I’m no mistaken we had over 700 students that graduated that year.
Now come on Bossip!! Let us take an minute and evaluate what you just posted on your site. Why do they have to be teen “W*****s”. There is no right time to kick a person when they are already down! Yes, we do need to start at home, but most parents are working 2-3 jobs or even 1/2 jobs. Our society has left children to rear (raise) themselves. We never do “family” day anymore. We leave them in front of the television,mp3, cell phones and their buddies and they get street knowlege. I am a woman that have strong beliefs in speaking to children and telling the truth about life. I watch tv with children and listen to their choices in life and explain the real side of everything, that includes, sex, drugs etc. We as a society would rather not deal with it and let what happen..just happen. No! we can’t. We have to rear our children head on! We have to bring them up as they did in 70’s and 80’s. Teach them to respect their elders, teach them how to handle themselves in adverse situation. Let them understand that you don’t have to get everyone straight! Parents, don’t leave your children at home alone so you can club hop with your partners! A child is a sponge…they absorb everything around them. Let’s be the society that breaks this cycle! Let’s be honest with our children and tell them how important it is to wait! Last, let us stop pointing our fingers and blaming everyone else for our short-comings. Believe me, when you point that 1 finger your have 3 more coming right back at cha! Keep it real take time to challange yourself…find a child, maybe your children and do something together constructive and get into their heads, find out whats on their minds. Provide encouragement and maybe set some equal goals. Remember our youth are our leaders of tomorrow. It only takes one person to bring about a change…..This your Mississippi girl..bringing a little down south flavor to the table once more!!!…You do you….and I’ma do me!
Shannon O.
i am LMMFAO @ Re for saying their hair is almost always wet!
clearly, these kids have too much time on their hands.
Well said at Shannon O.
I always find that its interesting that people want to address this issue with birth control pills. Clearly, there are some deeper rooted issues at play. Not one girl has ever told me that she got pregnant because she forgot or didn’t want to take her birth control pills. I work at a community college where many young women had children as teens but their pregnancy is usually about something else in their lives. I don’t think that I’ve ever heard anyone tell me that they fell in love.
Usually, they’re not doing well in school and it is an excuse making mechanism for justifying their failure and meeting emotional needs that are not being met at home or being met in other productive ways.
It’s sort of the same social problem as young men going to jail and young women get pregnant. The only constant that I notice is fatherlessness.
Everything is just so geared towards sex and violence.
You can’t even watch a simple cartoon without sex being an underlying current.
@Al-Anon
While I agree with some of what you said. I don’t believe fatherlessness is the only constant. You can be raised by one parent (mother) and not get caught up. But that goes back to not just parenting but good parenting. Don’t be scared to tell your children what’s real out here.
i have two sons ages 13 and 11 and I constantly tell them about the many traps that the world has waiting for them. i tell them that their EDUCATION is their girlfriend and they better be faithful to it.
@ Ms Knowledge
Sex is bad!? Huhhh? What foreign tongue is this you speak of?? This is a man’s main aspiration in life. Oh well, I guess that makes me a “baaaaad booooy.”
17 that’s it? (zzzz) come to the southside of the ATL where I stay. All I see is babies pushin babies in strollers.
I don’t think that fatherlessness is the only culprit, but I do notice that it a common denominator in many young women’s lives.
A couple of days ago, I had a student tell me that she got pregnant so she could move away from home. She didn’ like her mother’s boyfriend who had moved in with the mother. But she didn’t have enough money to live on her own, so she got pregnant. Now, by being pregnant, she can actually move out and get some help. It’s sad.
One of the sad things about this type of thing is that as soon as a young girl gets pregnant, she’s automatically label as a ho, *****, or whatever one wants to call it. I’m pretty sure there are girls who
certainly are triflin’ getting pregnant, then there are times when a girl is with her boyfriend and they made a mistake. I don’t condone such actions, but i also don’t judge people, especially when i don’t know them.
And don’t forget, girls don’t just get pregnant by themselves, it takes a young lady and young man to make a baby.
You can blame the parents, school, or whoever else
you want to, but when it all comes down to it, these are teenagers, and folks need to stop acting like their just plain stupid. They know exactly what they’re doing, and they (should) know right from wrong.
As far as sex ed goes, a young person can learn at home, or school. And we can say, “if you give a girl birth control, you’re giving her a p***** to have sex” but what happens if a girl isn’t given some type of birth control or education on the matter and she ends up pregnant and has no idea what to do. but I agree with the fact that young people abuse the fact that there is birth control, especially abortion.
It’s kinda sad, but there is, most likely, no win-win situation here.
These girls REALLY keep their legs closed. Cause in the long run those babies are going to suffer and then they will end up being a statistic. (well they are realy are being born to teenagers)
That is a pillow stuffed up her shirt. Not saying it aint a serious matter; however, this young girl is not pregnant.
If u r going to be “grown” and have sex use some type of protection. In todays age I use condoms EVERY time. The only thing birth control can do is prevent pregancy and Id rather get pregnant 1000 times than have HIV or AIDS. However i do use BC just in case the condom breaks, which does happen!
Also knowledge of safe sex begins at home and if u as a parent decide to let society raise your kids then so be it.
My mother always instilled in me to use condoms if I decided to have sex because you cannot stop a teenager from doing it period point blank!
And I look at my friend who had a baby at 15; her mother never talked to her about sex, let alone safe sex.

but you asking broads on a weekly basis would they hit it!!!

If y’all fast azz would stick to one man… you wouldnt need condoms….
Damn it!!!
17 that’s nothing compared to Reading high in reading, pa…. every year 65% of the school is pregnant…. also 40% of the middle school is always pregnant
Having sex is not a bad thing, sex is a responsible thing.
oh yeah that 65% is out of 10,000 students
@ money299
GODDAMN. A and I thought my 250 our 1100 was high. I wonder was any immaculate conceptions involved there? LOL
*250 out of 1100*
@ m-daddy
Man, sex is a natural thing. That’s all that’s it. That’s why I try to be as natural as possible in as many natural way’s that nature can provide with as many naturally attractive women.
Uhhh yes 17 is bad when the AVERAGE is 4 a year. That is a 300% increase. Gloucester is in M*****achusetts and the town is mostly white (97%). THIS is why it is getting so much media attention.
But, to all the other dudes, young and old, please be of proper moral standing and wait till your married. Less of you that I have to compete with. Damn, did I just type that last part? My plan is foiled.
Thank you Shannon O. My very first reaction was not to the subject matter at hand, but at the response by Bossip itself…what adult would randomly address a teen as a “ho” because they have become pregnant? That was straight ignorant, which proves that not everyone who has a job deserves it – some are just lucky and others are just plain stupid and accepted for it anyway…point blank.
All that set aside, you spoke on the topic in an intelligent and grown-up fashion, and I for one, appreciate it the opportunity to read something that makes sense…thank you!
It’s just troubling on so many levels…I know there are places where the situation is even worse, but what I don’t understand is how these young’ns don’t understand the consequences of their actions. Sure it feels nice when it’s happening but what happens when the girls get pregnant. It’s bad enough that not finishing high school for any reason severly compromises one’s future financial potential but to have that issue made even more challenging by having to take care of a baby on minimum wage? SMH.
My point is that there is usually something emotionally or psychologically going on that is causing a lot of girls to get pregnant. It’s not to blame any one issue.
Point blank, these teenagers are going to have sex regardless. Nothing us adults are going to say is going to change that. However, what we can do is educate them on the dangers of not protecting themselves. All these parents are so stuck on “make sure you use your birth control so you don’t pregnant.” I think what these children need is a reality check and realize that they can get diseases if they don’t use condoms. Society is saying to these children getting pregnant is worst than getting a disease. It’s not. It’s just as bad and depending on what you contract you may not be able to get rid of it. So for the teenagers out there. If you gonna have sex wrap it up and focus on your future and don’t be in a rush to get more responsiblity. I’m 24 years old with two children….I’m still with the father and I was of age when I got pregnant but it is still a struggle everyday. I love my children to death but if I could do it again I would waited for to have them.
if they are going to have sex they should use protection, the parents cant stop them so they might as well talk to them about all the things that happens when you are sexually active
@ K.ola
What makes you think that they had more than one man? You do know that it only takes one time to get pregnant. These are teenagers, they shouldn’t have a man at all!!! They need to know their “self worth”. They need to value their body which is their personal temple. If they had enough respect for themselves, then they would not put themselves at risk for unwanted pregnancy.
Bossip is hatin on my comments again
@Shannon O….you always post really great comments. Kudos to you!
I don’t think these kids fear their parents. I knew my mother would have *****ed me up if I came up pregnant so that helped me to keep my legs closed. I know mistakes happen but 17 girls in ONE school?
Okay Bossip! and WHY AREN’T YOU ASKING ABOUT THE NAPPY HEADED BOYS THAT GOT THEM PREGNANT! HOW COME EVERYBODY ALWAYS TEND TO BLAME THE WOMEN/GIRLS FOR GETTING PREGNANT, AHHHH HELLO! THEY HAD HELP AND THESE MEN/BOYS TEND TO WALK AWAY EMPTY HANDED AND YET THEY GET APPLAUDED FOR THEIR ACTIONS WHERE AS THE WOMEN/GIRLS ARE CALLED W*****S AND EVERY OTHER THING UNDER THE SUN! SHAME ON YOU BOSSIP!
First of all let’s not call them ho’s – that was very inappropriate – they are still minors! But I must agree maybe they should distribute all forms of birth control because not only are they getting pregnant they are also exposing themselves to various disease. If they can’t get educated on safe sex at home – let them learn at school!

Wow, that’s interesting. When I went to an all white high school, they either got married or took up donations for an abortion. They didn’t choose single parenthood.
Wow, with my parents, getting pregnant was not an option. It’s not something that would even cross our minds. You would get a severe whipping if you even brought a stray dog home. Bringing another mouth home to feed was tantamount to a death sentence at my house. My parents weren’t having it…..no way and no how.
Today, I would probably report them to 1-800-CHILD ABUSE cause they were crazy.
Damn! This is not a good look.
Infact, how in the hell are these girls’ parents going to feed them and their grandchildren while saving for retirement. www-kingdeon-com
I’m seventeen, a mom of a beautiful little boy, and I’m no w*****! I had sex with one man and i haven’t had it since! I’m graduating highschool early…I just got my own place…and I’m going to UK for sports Med. I’m doing more than most…so don’t make any judgements based on a few stereotypes.

this story needs to make major headlines news MSNBC,CNN,NBC,ABC,FOX,CBS bc we all know many neighborhoods where young women < 15yo have or aspire to have children
there needs 2 be a voice for these young women so they can hear frm other young mothers that having his baby doesn’t keep him around & being a mother that has to put her kids needs before her own being a mother is HARD being a young single mother still in grade school is 10x harder how do u care for your child they way u want whn u r still maturin wantin to have fun & be young and care free
@ Vanessa
Congrats we all know that not every person that lays, stays focus. Continue to be a great role model for your son mistakes in judgements happen its what you do with the aftermath that defines who you are
Aw that’s nothin’, come to Indianapolis.
Gloucester is a middle cl***** type of town…i ain’t shocked itz M*****achusetts @ ALL…Boston is WAY worse but i guess that won’t b in tha newz…az usual…but letz all keep bloggin about it…cuz thatz tha real ansah to tha problem….smmfh
People need to stop downplaying this like it’s nothing. ‘Oh, 95% of my graduating cl***** was pregnant, so this ain’t nothing…’ blah, blah, blah. This is SAD.
These girls aren’t hoes, they just need some serious direction. They need to understand that having children before they’re married/grown isn’t cute. Well, it’s cute until the bills start rolling in and the new mothers can’t afford to feed or diaper those babies.
I’m noticing that alot of young girls that I know are ‘accidentally’ popping up pregnant not long after one of their friends become pregnant. It’s almost like a domino effect. Some of these girls are filling an emotional void and I really think that it’s unfair to label them hoes.
Even if their parents don’t talk them about sex, these teenagers(boy and girls) know everything else. They are so sopisticated when it comes to getting fake ID’s, crashing computers, downloding and stealing music, breaking the codes in cell phones, but no one can figure out how the use birth control properly.
I heard someone say the when these young people make these dumb mistakes it just makes it easy for those who want something better in life to get ahead faster. I thought it was a cruel thing to say, but there is some truth to it.

Cosign! I was raised in the same type of home where getting pregnant better not even cross my mind. My parent weren’t trying to hear nothing about no ‘accident’.
Umm..this has been going on how long?
wait…instead of cracking down on the girls, what about the 17 boys that got these girls pregnant. Give the girls birth control and teach the boys to wear a condom. Let the boys know that if the ***** is ready to have sex without a condom…RUN!!! If the ***** don’t wanna wear a condom then she need to run. I’m a 22 year old female and when I was that age I was just trying to get out of high school and keep my grades up so my mama would stay off my *****. I wrapped up everytime…no joking aside. I had an example My mom had me at 17. She worked 3 jobs and went to school fulltime jus so we can eat. Some of you teenagers need to wake the ***** up!!!! I tell my brother all the time…ya’ll smokin something and it ain’t weed!!!
***im_jus_sayin****
It’s never been a public outcry when the ***** happens in “the hood.”
I’m just saying…..
Why does someone discriminate black? I don’t think love is just belongs to white. I’m a black and but my hubby is white. We met at +((((((+ I n t i m a t e m i n g l e. c o m +))))))+which tell us love is color blind. Our love proved this. I hope each one will not discriminate blacks.
I would like to thank +((((((+ I n t i m a t e m i n g l e. c o m +))))))+for bringing a very close friend from 17 years ago. I never had the chance to express how I really felt. I had always watched her from afar, but due to Mutual friends it wouldn’t be right, but now we are planning to meet for new years eve. We have exchanged dozens of e-mails and phone calls. She now knows how I felt for her 17 years ago, And our future is as bright as ever.
17??? Hell I know 11 year olds carrying babies with GROWN MEN AS THE FATHERS!
This isn’t on teachers, this starts at HOME. What is that little seeing at home??
A mother laying on her back making babies with whatever NEGRO she can find and then head to the welfare office for a check?
A mother using what is in between her legs to prove to a no good NEGRO that she loves him?
How many of these girls are finding love in the arms of grown men (R. Kelly?) since Daddy isn’t around?
We are not teaching our girls to keep their legs closed and what is worst they are giving it up to Urkel, Nick Cannon or guys that want a future. They are humping deadbeats, jail birds, thugs and loser that are so hood. And they think belting out babies make them grown. How are you going to an 8th grader with 4 kids? Yet you knw where the welfare office, but not the father(s).
It’s never been a public outcry when the ***** happens in “the hood.”
I’m just saying…..
————————————————–
Yes there is an outcry. The issue is whenever we speak out about crap in the hood we are told that we are HATING on our race. It’s always the WHITE MAN’S fault for issues in the hood. Yet I don’t see Hispanic on the hood complaining nor the Asians nor the Africans nor the Cubans that seem to make it.
Yet we keep making excuses.
first off were is the parents of these girls ***** teaching them about birth control teach them about not having a baby at 16,17 back in the 80’s my mother and father would have killed me too even know that i was having sex but that is the way of the late 70’s and early 80’s mother thats why they r grandparents at 37 and great grandparents at 48 and thats in the white world i hate to say because black parents tell their kids their own their own when they get pregant and put they ***** out but not becky parents they think it’s cute so please parents if your not going to teach them not to have a baby tell them about how messed up their life will be after they have a baby at 16
bissop i cant agree with you on this just because a teen is having a baby doesnt make them triflin the sin is not the baby it is the sex. how do you think we all got here stop being so judgemental and educate our youth because calling them triflin wont help
I hope this town and the families are surrounding these young parents (both the young fathers and the young mothers) with the support they need to be good parents, to complete school, and to prepare for college and employment.
Why does this school want to take the easy way out and just provide birth control, why not teach these young girls not to have sex so dame young, i would love to go back in time be a kid with no responsibility accept to take my ***** to school and come back home.
hi, guys, nice discussion… but, do you love to try something new? most of these guys just enjoy themselves there… multiraciallove.com you will be surprised
*****…My high school two years ago, senior year there was at least two girls in each grade pregnant. Chicks were popping out babies left and right.
…But of course teaching young girls about contraception is basically encouraging them to have sex.May wanna RE-THINK that idiocy right about now.Women may mature faster than men…but that ‘aint sayin’ much .THEY’RE STILL STUPID ABOUT BIRTH CONTROL.Since they’re the ones who have babies…and since there are AT LEAST 8 options for them before you even touch abortion…women need to be taught from every angle to NOT BREED until you’ve got at least good money in the bank.Otherwise you put another poor idiot on this Earth.MUCH LIKE YOURSELF.Sounds harsh? TOO DAMN BAD.Being a single mom is harsher.Just ask your mom.
BTW I’m well aware of the hypocrisy & GLORIFICATION that goes on when it’s white girls who pull this *****.(JL SPEARS).THEY’RE JUST AS STUPID…maybe even more so because they actually believe in that “unspoken promise” that everything will workout fine.
Ah…the lies we choose to live.
So basically, odds are they probably have alotof the same daddies if all at the same school.
Maury Povich, GET READY!
(smh @ this *****)
bossip where is this school i need to head down there and pimp some hoes.***** ***** that too young ***** these hoes are already pros.
Some of these girls are filling an emotional void and I really think that it’s unfair to label them hoes.
________________________________________
They aren’t hoes. They’re either escaping, already failing or trying to fill an emotional or psychological void in their lives. That’s what we need to address. I don’t know if we need to that with or without birth control.
I meet brothas with the same issues. I had a 19 year old student in my office with four (4) two year old children with four different women. All the children were born within two weeks of one another.
He said “*****ody told them to get pregnant. They did that all on their own.”

Too true. too true.
this is my neck of the woods. comedy
Poor people and very rich people have a lot in common. Both groups can do things that most can’t. The poor don’t have much to lose and the very rich can buy themselves options.
Many poor women look at P. Diddy, Brad Pitt, Madonna and Halle Berry who are having children and aren’t married and say that no one says anything to them. They have money and celebrity to try to fix whatever’s wrong with their lives.
Poor and middle cl***** women don’t. Unless you have strong family support and adequate income, you have just made a choice to make your life more difficult and complicated. Yes, you love your child deeplty, but you have made a choice to make your life more difficult and complicated. Some opportunities will be lost and options will be limited. It’s a fact of life. Some can glamorize it all they want to, but raising people is serious business, it ain’t for the weak!
Kids need to be whipped. The problem with kids today is that they have too many rights. At 17 sex was the last thing on my mind. Kids don’t do extra-curricular activities anymore. I played Basketball, netball, swimming, athletics, i was head of house and the entrepreneurs club. I’m not trying to sound important, but I was too busy to even consider having a boyfriend. And my parents weren’t afraid to slap me around and I’m thankful for it. I would rather my kids fear me and be thankful later than ruin their lives before it even begins. I have a son 2yrs old and I’m married and 26 yrs old, but I still wish I could have waited because raising a child is not easy. You need to be emotionally, spiritually, economically and physically ready to have a child. Young girls, respect yourselves. You don’t have to be the cool one because you’re having sex. You’ll be better of when everyone else is lagging behind because they thought they were smart. You are worth more than you believe you are.
the story was shocking in its self…but the writting styles are getting borderline retarded and have taken the focus away from it……
“Damn, these ho’s got home-room looking like a lamaze cl***** ‘n’ sh*t.”
bossip are u serious..or was this written by another site and u just jacked it as usual? i know this isnt ccn type journalism or anything..but u nuccas (white folks)are tripping for real.
For all of those out here that would like to use ignorance as an excused to get pregnant or get a girl pregnant, just go to the Planned Parenthood website, type in your zip code and they will give you a list of locations near you. You can ger FREE condoms there even if you underage. Like I said before, if you know how to downlode free music or setup a My*****e page with questionable photos, then I have full confidence that you can do this also.
For those who claim to have no access to a computer try looking it up in the Yellow Pages. Last time I check they deliver those to your home for free. Know if you choose not to use these options and continue to have unprotected sex, who do you have to blame?
Ghost did you know that the teenage pregnancy rate in the hispanic community is WAY larger than the AA? Obviously NOT….
I know this will not be a popular sentiment but here goes. Women used to have children at much younger ages than they do now back in the day. That was because they weren’t as concerned about school and careers. Back in the day a woman’s place was at home serving her husband. Times have changed and now we look down upon women who have their children early. It was a very common thing for women of all races to start families young and because the life expectancy was less than it is now…ages like 15,16,17 were not considered too young to have children. This is an ‘epidemic’ that’s really an epidemic now because of how society has changed. I am starting to believe that we should allow women to have children when their cultures, bodies and minds decide they should, but also provide ways for them to suppor themselves and their children at younger ages. Think about it…we give men from the age of 16 to whenever to have children while women are expected to quickly pop them out between the ages of 22-35….
been a mother is not a part time job. it is full time all time. and the govorment sould not be the one taking care of there kids.
Some of these young girl purposely get pregnant in order to have someone to love and love them unconditionally. Unfortunately in some cases if one girl get pregnant in a group then the friends or cousins follow so they can bring their kids up together. The whole thing disgusts me, so I try to talk to the younger women and encourage them to choose a career, make life goals and stick to the plan. They can have children when they are much more mature and financially established.
Well their life is going to be much harder if some decide to continue their education.Kids are expensive. And kids having kids make it no easier because a McDonalds or retail job is not gone cut it.Say hello to more tax dollars.A friend of mine is dealing with some issues. This grown man has about 7 kids, no job and these young girls fighting over him on my*****e.I mean something is not right.I could go on to say where at the parents, but parents are getting tired of bad ***** kids thinking they grown. That goes for males and females.
That’s all you see when you go to school & outside, the world is a BIG mess. But its a lot of boys makin these girl pregnant, but *****ody told these girls to do it.But I still think no sex no babies.
When you live in sin,you die in sin.If people live the right way you won’t go through this.Go to chruch read the Holy Bible then your live will be different. But you have to live the way the bible tell’s you.And don’t deny Jesus & his love because that will send you to hell.Evertbody knows right from wrong.
I know the town is upset about the school suggesting giving out birth control pills. But obviously the parents at home are not educating their kids about the dangers of sex and they are having to find out on their own. Hence why 17 kids are pregnant.
in matter of fact the whole situation is could be worse. It could be 17 girls with AIDS/HIV…. just something to think about.
i think my high school definitely beat that record. when i was in high school, the girls did nothing but have unprotected sex, brag about it, get pregnant, brag about that, and have babies. there were a few who even had more than one before they either turned 18, or before they graduated, IF graduation was even in their future. i see nowadays that these young females having babies see them as accessories, like purses or shoes. some girls even went as far as to talk about how they have sex during their cycles, because that’s the best time to get pregnant, with no remorse. i’m disgusted with the behavior of the females at my high school, and i’m sometimes embarr*****ed to having gone to that school. thank God i graduated, and my ***** is in college, baby free. i say that to say this…females these days don’t have any respect for themselves anymore, which is the result of children raising children. the age gap in each generation is getting smaller and smaller, which saddens me. AJ, you do have a point, but at the same time, a baby at a young age isn’t exactly a picnic either.
what about the fathers?
I am a teacher and I work in an inner city high school. We have at least 30 girls pregnant or that have children. Some are on their second. The kids dont see it as a bad thing. Lets not forget about the guys that took part in these situations. The female always get the flack for it. It still takes two.
Well this is nothing… There are probably A LOT more girls at this school pregnant. I remember my freshman year of high school the we had counselors tell us at least 40 girls a year get pregnant… Out of all the girls that get pregnant I know not all of them are going to the counselors so there were probably more than that! And this was at a suburban high school!!!
Its all about parenting, what you teach your child about sex and relationships. To explain to them what you see on TV is reality, kids these days are all about visual, you can just say a child don’t have kids, they need expericence to trials and tribulations of having a child.
go ahead *****es have some kids and can’t feed em.PIMP DADDY will show you how to make a buck for me.i’ll pimp your young ***** till your feet bleed. so if you don’t want to get pimpslapped when my doe is low stay in school get your education, use birth control or end up on the stroll.
17??? lol I’m not koin there are about 50 pregnant girls at my school and there about to be more soon…there are a lot of parties and drinking around here. there is maybe 2000 kids at my school and there are about a couple dozen pregnant chicks in each grade.

birth control pills or the shot is exactly wut all females should be on/taking cau not everyone is ready/willing to have a baby
I teach high school and teen preg is growing. In 6 years I have seen an increase in incomming 9th graders who already have babies and girl 9th – 12th getting preg. There are no serious programs in the schools anymore that talk about safe sex and planned parenting. All the girls and boys who are young parents are not bad kids. But teens didn’t just start having sex last year. Back in the 80’s AIDS forced us to talk about safe sex with teens. We need to start these conversations again.
