Rhi was awful. No stage presence. Terrible voice. The guy I was sitting next to was going on about how she needs to go into acting because her singing days are numbered.

Hmmm… I dont really have much to say about Lady GaGa’s performance. She has talent but she freaks me out. I’m blinded by her weird antics. I do appreciate her her for her innovation and being a breath of fresh air for the music industry; however, a person can go overboard. I love RiRi. True she definitely doesn’t have a big explosive voice compared to others, but I love her music. I loved all of GGGB and I love all of Rated R. To sum it all up… I’d say Lady GaGa had one of the best performances of the night and so did RiRi and of course Whitney; however, performances such as that of Adam Lambert shows me how award shows have gone to sh*t. How the hell did Taylor Swift get artist of the year over Michael Jackson? Chick has a heck of a fanbase or she has that sympathy vote. If that’s the case she should’ve thanked Kanye!

Rihanna was great.. I just love evrthing about her. I like her accent, I like her swagga and I think she will continue to grow as an artiste.

Lady gaga is extremly talented and can sing and dance very well.she has a very classic voice which makes her able to sing pop and ballads. Her image right now might be a little gimicky, but at least she owns it. Unlike rhianna, who seems very much like a gimmick and its very obvious. Sometime I feel like Jay-z and whoever else manages her, is pimping her out in a sense. After last nights performance, I think so even more. I feel like more money is spent on her image and them force feeding us her music than she makes. I mean for as much popularity she has, has she ever headlined a major tour? I don’t really see her as being relevent.

She writes and composes her own music, can perform, can sing, plays the piano like a pro, and owns her art and weirdness. Janet and JLo’s performances were amatuerish for 2 women who have been in the industry as long as they have. Their lackluster stage presence has nothing to do with age. Madonna is older than both of them and like it or not Madonna gives 110%. They both phoned their performances in. And to Janet please stop doing a medley of your old songs. “Control” has to be about 20 years old.

Rihanna sounded good for the songs she was singing. What else should she have done with it. She’s not going to work and gyrate on stage, so it is what it is.

I tried to miss the Rihanna part of the AMA’s by going to Chris Browns’ concert in VA. Still managed to catch the horrible performance. The girl can’t sing and she sure can’t dance. She is good at picking a song with a good hook. To hook the simple minded. No talent and no account not even so nice to look at anymore. It is unfortunate what took place between Chris Brown and Rihanna and I hope they don’t think about getting back together, it was apparent at his concert that he still has feelings for her and she stated she still loves him but they are at their best apart.

I’m glad most ppl on here are talking with some sense when they are calling a spade a spade by sayin Rihanna sounded a mess last night! She looked great, loved the outfit and whoever’s idea it was to add the lights on her outfit to add a little something to her performance kudos to them but it couldn’t help because all she could do was walk across the stage and sing off key, but at least her strut was on point. But I agree with some one earlier who said they were embarrassed for her last night. I was too! Both her and Adam because all the other shows were so good when they opened their mouths to sing it was like both of them were clearly out of the league. You can’t compare Rihanna to Lady Gaga because LG can actually sing, writes her own stuff and plays instruments. She is an actual artist. Lady Gaga was amazing, and she sang effortlessly!! Rihanna looked like she was rehearsing, there was no feeling in her performance…i didnt expect her to sound good, but she usually has more emotion on stage, she looked kinda stiff and unsure up there….love that song she did though. She should take a note form Janet and Jlo by lip synching so that she can bust some moves on stage, and not look totally lifeless
