Kimora, Djimon and the kiddies were spotted at Cross Creek park yesterday in LA, looking like the perfect family. All we want to know is when is Kimora gonna change that last name to really make it official??

Adorable Family. It always concerns me though when I see the parents dressed warmer than the kids. If its cold enough that you need a jacket…shouldnt the baby have on one and a hat too? Kimora is scarfed up but the girls are coatless and the baby is uncovered. Sigh…I was just one of those mothers that kept my babies bundled I guess.

Have you forgotten Grace Jones? Naomi Campbell? (not that she’s as dark as him, but you get my drift…lol) Ajuma Nasanyana, Oluchi Onweagba (she’s not that dark either, but true African) Kinee Diouf is another dark-skinned model and the biggest of them probably is Alek Wek.

true, White society’s image of perfection is White, pale skin.

But we know the truth. Beauty is in all races and colors…and I heavily support the claim that women of color are some of the most beautiful women on the planet!

So, I ain’t for bashing no one for the color of their skin…I’ve dated them all! yummmmmmmm…

now I’m married to a mutt (mixed)…hee hee….just like me. =]

I have forgotten those others. I think it’s “easier” to “make it”/”be accepted” OUTSIDE of the AA community. I agree w/ your statement about beauty coming in all races/colors/mixes. I just know/hear a lot of “down-talking” to/about women who look like Djimon (or even LESS black), and I wish it would stop. The double standards “get to me”. For e.g., I have a friend who LOVES him, but every “black” female I’ve heard her call “attractive” is lighter/mixed. I’ve NEVER heard her say a woman who looks like him is pretty. A personal e.g.: I think Reggie Bush is FINE. I think he’s a REALLY BEAUTIFUL guy. BUT, I would ALSO think he was a VERY BEAUTIFUL black woman (w/o needing to be mixed). I wish that type of “consistency” applied to ALL people. I want little girls who look like Djimon to be told their “beautiful” and “loveable” too. That’s all.

Kimora always makes me smile. I swear you can call her anything under the moon but you can’t deny she’s a great mom. I love her and Djimon together. When does the new season of Life in the Fab Lane begin?
