Heathcliff Huxtable Sweaters Up For Auction
Posted by Bossip Staff
You too can now own an authentic Cosby show sweater for 5 stacks at the least:
Cosby’s daughter, Evin, said her mother and father were cleaning out a closet recently when they came across a batch of the sweaters her dad wore when he played Huxtable on NBC’s “The Cosby Show” from 1984 to 1992. “I pounced on these sweaters,” she said Thursday, adding she figured they could help a charity named for her brother, Ennis, raise a substantial amount of money. The nonprofit organization, which raises money to benefit educational programs, is named in honor of Cosby’s only son, who was about to begin his doctoral studies when he was murdered in Los Angeles in 1997. The auction is scheduled for June 2-12, with minimum bids set at $5,000.

Lol, my dad used to wear those sweaters like it was *****odys business. I hated those carpet sweaters.

I think everybody’s daddy, uncle, older cousin, etc. use to where those sweaters…
however, note to Bill or whoever is trying to hock those things: Burn em….they ain’t gone neva, eva, eva, eva come back in style ….and who wants to keep a old musty 80’s sweater of Bill Cosby’s as memorabilia??
meant to say wear
he can keep that *****!!!!
They need to auction some of those outfits that they had Olivia wearing when she first came on the show. They PLAYED that poor child…
I remember those horrid sweaters! I want one too. Did anyone else cry when the show went off the air and boys II men sung that song? I loved that show. That and a different world. They had Thursday nights on LOCK!
I think my dad had a few sweaters like that but my dad looked playa in his!
y would buy those??.. thats like askin me to buy jello pudding now.. i mean carnival is comin up n i wanna look hella sexy in my costume!!..lol.. those sweaters r funny
Back in the day, when the Cosby Show was popular, We all use to think that those were some nice sweaters. They looked extremely expensive! Bill Cosby was known for his expensive sweaters on that show. So, its not surprising to me that people would pay that much for one of those sweaters. I mean……. they are not going to weart the sweaters, I’m sure! They are memorabila.
Are you serious? I would’t wear those sweaters to a sh%t stompers convention!!!
don’t front. y’all know those sweaters were THE ***** back then. everybody wanted one.
Thanks for the throwback offer, but I’ll p*****…
@ dayg715, Everybody had one, too!! LOL!
I know quite a few men (white and black) that were rockin’ those sweaters. I think Bill was the inspiration behind the Coogi sweaters and stuff we see now. Remember those crazy Versace silk shirts with the gold scrolling…and all the knockoffs that followed? Not saying it was right, not saying it was wrong, I’m just saying.
And this is for charity, so it’s all good. Someone will buy them.
Folks I know that went to school with his son said he was just a low-key dude, intelligent, and most people didn’t know he was Bill’s son until someone told them. He was a cool dude trying to get an education. Something more folks should be doing.
Finally the day has arrived. I have been plotting and scheming on those sweaters for years. And now the time has finally come. I can finally have one to call my own. Ooh and since its almost summer, perhaps, I can get them on discount. Do you know what that means…Christmas presents for all of my friends. They’ll be excited too. Who needs Louis Vuitton or Gucci when you can have a BILL COSBY. Yes!!
Put the Gordon Gartrelle Shirt up for bids, that will get blown out of the water just on novelty ALONE!!!!
Lol @ rocking the Bill Cosby like a Gucci or LV. Hillarious.
Unless one of those sweaters has Malcolm Jamal Warner inside, I am not interested.
i hope bill wash them joints before selling.just imagine 20 year old bill cosby funk.
I ITCH JUST LOOKING AT THAT UGLY SWEATER…
