Until ABC airs the promo for the interview, I won’t believe it’s a “tell all” as only the gossip blogs are reporting. Vibe.com reported on 11/9/09 that Chris had this interview set up, in advance before Rihanna’s interview, as the timing coincides with his album release. I actually think Chris is tired of discussing the subject himself but he has to since I doubt any news outlet would let him simply perform some songs on their show without getting their own interview from him.

I hope Chris sticks to his usual message of “I have to take responsibility for my actions” and keep it moving. I think if there was more to the story, it should have been said to the cops and put into a report.

If he does go the “tell all” route I hope by the grace of God it is cancelled (due to the Adam Lambert controversy) because the only way Chris will win some people back is by performing. I saw him in Richmond and is amazing to watch.

As someone who works with domestic abuse I can tell you this… If he had truly beat her down, then no… But if this was a fight, and not a beatdown, then yes… Sorry but thats whats real. The court is not quick to prosecute a man when there is a mutual fight. Which 9 times outta 10 this was. If he had just hauled off and whipped her *****, then they would’ve thrown the book at him, Chris Brown or not.

Anyway, to sum things up bluekid, there are also accusations and evidence of Chris Brown worshiping the devil and since u consider youtube to be a “scholarly source” there is also videos of him too. He did write “Umbrella”, which supposedly has subliminal messages. Your opinions seem sort of biased. I like Rihanna and her music, but I’ll admit if she did hit him it may be wrong, but there is no excuse for what he did to her. I think he should be given a second chance; however, ever since the incident it’s hard for me to listen to his music, but I do wish him success or at least the chance to redeem himself.

If he changes his story who’s to say he’s not just doing that to revive his fanbase and salvage his career. If he changes his story I would look at it as a lie.

Also, he has accepted resposibility for his actions, perhaps you didn’t see him plead guilty or hear the ‘extremely favorable’ report from the judge on his work done so far! So he HAS and is taking responsibility for his actions whether YOU acknowledge it or not! The average Joe working story wouldn’t be blasted all over the CNN for the whole world to sit back and judge! If it had been CB working working at Mickey’s D who had *****ualted his GF who wasn’t as pretty and famous as Rih, NO ONE ouwld give a damn! They would just p***** his ***** on the streets every day not knowing or caring who he is and what he has done!

you all keep saying she hit him first, but police reports said that rihanna said chris hit her on numerous occasions, and the abuse was getting worse. according to TMZ. Also chris had incidents of angry outbursts, like raging on his mom in a hotel, and angrily punching out a car window. How are you guys saying she is capitalizing, when she only did one interview on the subject, when Chris has done at least 6 going on his 7th. with GMA. So who is the one benefitting from this, cause he is releasing his album as well. I don’t hate chris, I actually like him and rihanna and liked them as a couple, but i find it strange that people seem to be wanting to hear that rihanna hit him, as if its so hard to believe that a person with anger issues can snap.

Chris deserves to be able to tell his side of the story. the media is only flocking to rihanna’s side because she’s female. there were reports of her kicking his ***** for 2 years before the incident back in february and no one cared. I’m not saying what he did is right but there is no way that she is innocent of any wrong doing. even still she only waited to do the interview now for publicity because it coincided with her album release. Also she claimed to have never hit him back during the entire altercation yet the reports stated that he was bitten up and bruised as well, clearly all the facts have not yet been revealed.

Its sad that people want to see him fall because he and rihanna have suddenly become the poster children for domestic abuse. Its as if anyone who’s ever been slapped has suddenly become a rihanna fan and the people who don’t like her have suddenly jumped on chris’ bandwagon. The argument isn’t even over them anymore, its about whether or not the public feels justified and its time to let it go.
