you all keep saying she hit him first, but police reports said that rihanna said chris hit her on numerous occasions, and the abuse was getting worse. according to TMZ. Also chris had incidents of angry outbursts, like raging on his mom in a hotel, and angrily punching out a car window. How are you guys saying she is capitalizing, when she only did one interview on the subject, when Chris has done at least 6 going on his 7th. with GMA. So who is the one benefitting from this, cause he is releasing his album as well. I don’t hate chris, I actually like him and rihanna and liked them as a couple, but i find it strange that people seem to be wanting to hear that rihanna hit him, as if its so hard to believe that a person with anger issues can snap.

@Daywalker! Your simple arse is in her again! You be on every damn CB post don’t talking that ish! Why do you devote so much time and energy to some one you supposedly can’t stand? FYI, YES, it it were the CB working at Mickey D’s and he were a FIRST TIME OFFENDER with NO RECORD what so ever (not even a damn speeding ticket), and the victim herslf DOES NOT file charges and signs off on the plea deal then YES he would not have done jail time! Legal ecperts on CNN even said that the Judge made an example out of him because most first time offenders don’t get five years probation!A felony conviction and five years probation is NOT a light sentence! Also, he has accepted resposibility for his actions, perhaps you didn’t see him plead guilty or hear the ‘extremely favorable’ report from the judge on his work done so far! So he HAS and is taking responsibility for his actions whether YOU acknowledge it or not! The average Joe working story wouldn’t be blasted all over the CNN for the whole world to sit back and judge! If it had been CB working working at Mickey’s D who had assualted his GF who wasn’t as pretty and famous as Rih, NO ONE ouwld give a damn! They would just pass his arse on the streets every day not knowing or caring who he is and what he has done!

But this interview isn’t going to change anything. It might make things worse on him because first he says he didn’t hit her and he didn’t say it in the police report either. If he changes his story who’s to say he’s not just doing that to revive his fanbase and salvage his career. If he changes his story I would look at it as a lie.

As someone who works with domestic abuse I can tell you this… If he had truly beat her down, then no… But if this was a fight, and not a beatdown, then yes… Sorry but thats whats real. The court is not quick to prosecute a man when there is a mutual fight. Which 9 times outta 10 this was. If he had just hauled off and whipped her ass, then they would’ve thrown the book at him, Chris Brown or not.
