Another case of some swirl gone wrong:

Tiger Woods did not suffer facial lacerations from a car accident. They were inflicted by his wife, Elin Nordegren — according to a conversation Woods had Friday after the accident. Tiger has yet to be formally interviewed by the Florida Highway Patrol — that should happen this afternoon. But we’re told Tiger had a conversation Friday — with a non-law enforcement type — detailing what went down before his Escalade hit a fire hydrant.

We’re told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. We’re told it was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV — but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club. As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club. We’re told Woods became “distracted,” thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

We’re also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene.

SMH. Doesn’t this Swedish broad know how much this dude is worth??? This domestic violence has got to stop..

    Rumors are ’swirling’ about Tiger’s alleged affair… Granted, violence is not the answer, but cheating is wrong, and most people have some kind of emotional reaction when they are on the receiving end of infidelity. If the rumors are true, how is his wife to blame, and what did he expect? A free p***** because he’s Tiger?

    Clearly, Tiger (a man of color) places no value on women of [any] color, but cheating can be dangerous, and it is wrong.

    There is no way the NIKE Lawyers could kept this story quite. 1ST National Enquirer started the story this week. Then press where outside their house anyway. Tiger was hit in the head, he face was bleeding, he probabily could not see through the blood and NO time to call the lawyers and get their ***** to his house on time. Then the police…they probabily hate the Brotha/Clabasian dude so they called TMZ and told them that the white chick kicked her Hubby’s ***** thats why he was in the Hospital.     I hope she get the same punishment as Chris Brown. Tiger should not have to file a report, the police department should take the case over. She committed a crime to property, facial lacerations to a person and caused possible murder from a car accident. This should not be a double-standard. Women have to own up to their violent abuse, just like Rihanna should have done, instead of showing up in court wearing a “black funeral dress.”

    MYTWOCENTS – Tell it like it is. My brother is married to a white girl (just to be married to a white person, not for love) and he is miserable and won’t admit it!!! Not that all people married interracially are miserable.

    He was in love with a Black woman (by his own admission) but thought that marrying a White woman would give him better access to white people and move him up the corporate ladder (ie. more presentable).

    You see, his “boys” all preach this sermon and only date white women. He thought he would be a big hit in his social circle and he forgot that he has to spend the rest of his life with this person. He mentally has to “escape” and be around black people sometimes and then he feels better. When he goes out with black people he is so happy. Then he comes home and she starts in on him. Oh wait, I thought only Black women did that!!

    Now, not all white, hispanic, asian and other people are this boring. He should have chosen someone more culturally compatible, so now he has alot of regret. And guess what, his eyes start a-roaming.

    There is nothing wrong with marrying a quality person from any race but when you select out White women as the ONLY women of quality, something is wrong. And, unfortunately, many many successful black men are doing this.

    Sistas need to wake up and smell the vanilla coffee and step over the fence. These men are DAMAGED and there is nothing that can be done about it. As Black women, we need to ensure that we are truly conducting some mental checks on our dates and mates BEFORE marriage. Every black single man AIN’T a good man!

    This story reminds me of Montel Williams. When Montel got his disease, his then white poor stripper wife left him and took him to the cleaners.
    Tiger has a continuous knee injury which the wife probably knew long before the public. She went and get her two kids and green card because she figure that the knee injury will force him into early retirement which means no more fame, less money etc.

    I first learned of this incident yesterday on CNN online, and althought I was never a fan of Tiger Woods for various reasons (particulary his lack of interaction w/the African American community in which he seems to keep far and away from when we were the main ones supporting his rise in the Golf Tournament world) I am glad that he is okay.

    Unless one is trying to defend his or herself violence is never the answer. I can understand the wifes’ pain, because cheating is a such a selfish act that often comes laced with lies, manipulation and deceit. They do seem to be a couple of sincerely love each other and will probably seek couples and individual counseling.

    I honestly thought that with the Steve McNair case or even the popular former teen couple would prevent people, particulary men from cheating on their wives or girlfriends.

    Too many times a person has gotten killed over infidelity and that five or ten minutes of pleasure is not worth loosing ones family, children and even fiances over. If a man or woman still wants to play the field then he or she should remain single and definitely not get married, because what is done in the dark will always come to light one way or the other.

If a man cheats on me it is a done deal. I know the kind of person I am who for the most part was raised by my beloved late father although both my parents remarried (RIP DADDY)and I will have no problems in filing for divorce. Yes, my heart would be broken, but in time I will heal and move forward.     @SLIDE-In addition, to filing for divorce I would not act out violently, but I am sure that I would give him a piece of mind and either ask him to leave or I will go stay either with a family member or friend until the divorce is final. I could stay, but anger would build which would result in constant arguing.     @SLIDE- I was just checking back in to see if the my fellow Bossip e-friends had the chance to post and seen your comment. All jokes aside (on your end) and again I state in the Bible it reads that adultery is grounds for a divorce I also stated that it will hurt, but in time I will heal and move on meaning I will forgive, because one can not move on without forgiving and if I do not forgive then God will not forgive me and no one is worth me going to hell for, because I know that I am not perfect and will make mistakes that will require healing. It is a a personal choice for someone to want to work on the marriage via couples counseling dealing with infidelity or leave. I thoroughly explained how such an act would cause me to feel and my emotions and trust with my heart and body will no longer be the same.
    I have heard those same words of apologies not involving cheating though as well. I give many chances on many issues when it comes to a relationship, but I do not deal with cheating its more than just cheating it breaks down the mental, ruins trust, the emotional scars. I will do the right thing in being respectful and being civil if crossing paths or especially if children were involved, but I will keep it moving, because I know God will have someone better out there for me.

MANY men like to THINK that they are holding it down in the bed which may be true in some instances, but marraige and/or relationships are much more than sex and from my understanding most women cheat on an emotional level first then it leads to the physical.     @ME- You made some very good and valid points, but I would not generalized all black men to having a problem in maintaining or having healthy relationships with women or with women of different races. I am sure that many people on this site have had more than one relationship that did not work especially as one grows and matures.     No matter the situation, the guy should be in control of it!! If the female decides to slap him, he has 3 choices:

    1) Catch her hand before it makes contact and laugh….This is always the best one to do…

    2) let her hit you, and laugh…Not as cool, but if you make it seem as she didn’t do much in the way of damage and say something like: “You hit like a girl!!!”….It can still work..

    3) move out of the way, and laugh…Just be ready to catch her, because she’ll be offbalance on this one, and my hurt herself if you don’t save her from herself, guys…

    Note: by laughing, you relieve the tension of the situation, and based on the fact that most women who would hit you are somewhat irrational anyways, you want to diffuse the situation, not throw gasoline on it…Laughing usually works….

The only issue is that since I genuinely a nice person some men take it as me having an “interest” in them when I am just saying a simple hello, but I noticed in general that many people do not speak. I’ve gone to business or whatever the case and say “Goodmorning or hello” before I go into a discussion and often times men, women, black or white do not even say hi back. It seems that a lot of women don’t care if you disrespect the vows taken before God , the vows of the union or even them . As long as a man has an abundant amount of wealth some women don’t mind their health being put at risk or their hearts being torn apart , as long as they would be able to purchase something extravagant . I’ve already known that women like this existed but to see it in scibe makes it that much more gut-wrenching , to make matters worse I beleive that the majority of women proclaiming “what they would do if” are the same ones that persecute him for marrying a white woman . Here’s a couple of thoughts .     I couldn’t have put it better, Uncle E!!
