    It’s not the internet but lack of editorial substance and ad dollars.

    VICE is still going strong because of how it’s run. It’s expanding while weaker publications are folding.

    HIP HOP is dead and people don’t have to go to “Giant” to read about any of the people they have had on their covers.

    I never liked Giant.
    The black and white thing got boring really fast and there was never anything to read. Marry what with poor design and no fashion worth looking at and you get Giant.

    You’re right. They stuck too close to the same script. I understand a consistent aesthetic but to have most of the mag look like a Terry Richardson-rip off, they were headed for certain disaster. I wish they would have invested in more creative photographers.
