I tell my daughter EVERYDAY how pretty and beautiful she is. How she has the most prettiest eyes, beautiful smooth brown skin, smile, nose, legs, hair ect. This reminds me Micheal Jackson and Kanyes’ mother (RIP)I believe loving oneself and being happy with ones appearance starts at home. Micheal Jacksons’ father consistently poked fun at his features (particulary his nose)and called him ugly and many other celebrities have shared the same unfortunate experience. This is so sad on all levels. For the most part I love my body. I may want to change one thing, but nothing will ever make me go under the knife unless I was disfigured in an accident, because it is not worth it. Love yourselves and know that you are beautiful regardless of what anyone says.

@Ms.EJ, that is beautiful that you tell your daughter she is beautiful. They need to hear that. I tell my daughter and my son that also. They have skin and features that people pay to get. I’m not a proponent of getting plastic surgery for any and everything, but after the birth of my son 10 years ago, I did have a breast reduction and lift, and I would do it all over again, lol.

Word to the wise….ANYtime a M.D. wants to give you surgery in a clinic; RUN, RUN, RUN because most of the time it means that the doctor isn’t board certified, and don’t have any hospital privaleges… These M.D.’s probably took a “few” classes to learn how to do tummy tucks, butt implants ect. Always do your research and pay the extra bucks for the experienced board certified doctors…(that’s what happened to Kanye’s mom)
