They should have federal charges against them. They were not invited and in the same areas with people of higher power. Though they did not bring weapons in, and left before dinner (b/c they didn’t have names on table setting), they could have used knives, forks, or anything inside the bldg to cause harm.

Why and how did they get passed security? This was an event with the President, not some regular old joes. Security should have been doing their job. Security needs to be FIRED.

whether they were invited or not is not the point. the secret service let them in. they are supposed to the best of the best. they are supposed to protect the president. the head of the secret service and any secret service men working the event should be fired. if this couple was not on any list, how did they get past secret service?! how were they able to get that close to the president? this kind of breach of security shows the ineptitude of the secret service and the gross lack of safety of the president.
