I think Black people supporting Clinton shouldn’t be seen as a sellout. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and we all have free will to make decisions which we are comfortable with and believe it is right for us. As far as I cam concerned, the respect I had for the Clinton’s went down dramatically when they mounted a racist campaign to try and wrestle the Obama momantum. It is a lesson to all and sundry that White people are inherently racist, as they are brought up to believe they are better than Blacks. I understand that politics is dirty, HOWEVER, Clinton played to the lowest denominator of her “hard working white Americans”, which was racism, and that is completely unacceptable. She needs Black votes too, unless she’s forgotten. She has used the “Willie Horton” tactic, and on top of that, she has made one too many blunders, told blatant lies, and this last statement about the Kennedy **********ination is more than enough for her to be gone.

What Obama is unable to obtain is the un/undereducated middle to lower cl***** white americans. Which constistute the majority of the population. The primaries are not indicative of how the general election will play out. Don’t play into the agenda setting of the media. They have portrayed Hillary as the enemy because the GOP knew that if it was just her(your entitlement theory) against any Republican candidate, she would have demolished them. But here comes Obama to split the vote. Which he did. Now he’ll get the nomination and you know if its a black man vs. a white man, the white man usually wins. I don’t trust this “concession” at all. The AP is reporting that she is not going to formally suspend or end her campaign. And now the talking heads from her campaign are saying this isn’t true. BUT, BUT, BUT Hillary played herself. She had plenty of supporters of all demographics and ethnicities in the beginning. It wasn’t until she started reading out of the Karl Rove handbook of using race, and other dirty underhanded tactics that people started to change their minds. If she would have stuck to the issues and made a strong case, she could have beat Obama easily, because their platforms are pretty much the same. I don’t blame the media singlehandedly for her demise, it was her poorly executed campaign and advisors. People are tired of the BS and that’s what she and McCain represents—the old BS.
Now will Obama be any different? That remains to be seen, but I think more people are willing to gamble with his message of “Change”, and not knowing what we will get, vs knowing that with Hillary, we will get more of the same.

I agree with people that say race is being used as a distraction. I think some people are caught up in the heat of all of this and want “their candidate” to win.
Barack and Hillary are both out to represent the Democratic Party, not just themselves. Their agendas are based on the national party’s platform. At this point, it’s all about perception. They both want to get out troops out of the war, they both want healthcare for everyone, and they both want to help working cl***** families.
I believe the Clinton family has not represented themselves well in this fight for a nominee. No politician is perfect (Barack or Hillary), but to throw dirt on one person is a great away to have it flung back to you. Public perception is what’s driving this at this point. And the public has favorably perceived Obama in largely favorable manner. Not everyone will be for the person who is chosen, but I believe the majority will vote for him.
Look at the Republicans, not all of them like John McCain, but I guarantee you they will go out in droves to elect him.
It’s time for the healing to begin.

He won the nomination not the general election so let’s not make harder for him than it already is. He needs Hilary’s supporters to win this race and he needs us not to be ignorant and welcome them into his camp with open arms.

I’m sorry, but I totally disagree with Hillary being VP for number of reasons:
1) She is the status quo, which goes against everything Obama’s campaign stands for
2) How can you throw dirt on someone and then turn around and have them as your running mate. If Hillary didn’t run such a nasty campaign, then it wouldn’t a big deal. But she has showed her ***** way too much.
3)There’s no way in hell I can see her taking a back seat to this “no experienced” Black man. I’m sure the thought of that, *****es her off to know end.
4)I don’t put nothing past her and her cronies. They would have Obama **********inated just so that she could take the presidency.
Hillary is not the only capable “white” female of being VP. He’s also looking at the Governor of Kansas. She has less baggage than Hillary and can pull in the same voter base as Hillary. There’s also the Governor of Michigan, who is a white female (but she backed Clinton, so she’s probably out). But I ain’t seeing Hillary as a VP.
I am sad to say, as i have been saying, Obama will be president. However, i was told Hilary Clinton will finish Obamas term. That’s right, you were hoodwinked, duped, tricked. You will get Obama, but then Hilary will take his place. Now if you know the constitution and simple civics, you would know that the vp can only become president in 2 basic ways. Mr. Obama will play the role of his lifetime as this all unfolds right in front of your eyes. 1. HRC claims she should be OFFERED position of VP (for appearances sake, to pacify the 17 million morons who voted for her, etc). She really does not want to position.
2. Sen. Obama’s CONDITIONALITY for # 1 above;
Yes, he will offer HRC the VP slot, as long as
SHE DOES NOT TAKE THE OFFER- again for the reasons in # 1 above.
3. Neither Sen. Obama nor his advisors OR supporters want HRC on his ticket (and rightly so!)
4. HRC does not want Sen. Obama to offer the VP slot to A WOMAN!…HRC feels that she has earned the status within the Democratic party as THE pioneer for women holding high office, and if Sen. Obama selects a woman VP, that “pioneer” status will be stolen away from her and will be an act of disrespecting her “place”.
5. My take on ALL of the above
…HRC can go bend over and ***** herself…
…as the Democratic nominee (soon to be POTUS), Sen. Obama has EARNED THE RIGHT to SELECT whomever he deems fit (male/female, black/white, young/old, etc) to run as his VP, PERIOD!

People who support the Clintons because of favors owed (and that includes Maxine Waters, look up what’s been going down with her) or because of money/property/jobs exchanging hands (too many to count, and those aren’t rumors) are NOT sincere. They’re bribe takers.
I can’t think of anyone who sincerely supports the Clintons except possibly Maya Angelou, and we don’t know her full story.
