Hello, sister, I agree with you. This campaign was full of reasons why I could never align myself with feminists. The way they went after Obama is inexcusable, and the comparisons some of them (Gloria Steinem, for example) struck between sexism and racism were very offensive to me.
I fear, however, that the pressure is mounting for Obama to put Hillary on the ticket, so we’ll see. I think that’s a train wreck in the making.

There are better options that can shut the Repubs down, bring in disgruntled Repubs, Reagan Dems, and older white people that are nervous about an “unknown”. I already mentioned Colin Powell in another thread. If not VP, then the next position down, and I would make him a PROMINENT face during my campaign. First off there is nothing to be proud of in that campaign, people in and supporters of that campaign have constantly played the race card. For example when the accused African American’s of voting for Obama because he is black like we are ignorant and don’t pay attention to the speeches and his platform. If they had any cl***** they would respectfully support their political party. I mean if Obama had lost he would have immediately have congratulated her and given his support. He didn’t have to give her props for what she accomplished and I think that is another reason his camp won because even when admitting not to agree on certain policies she has, he never made it personal or took away from what she has previously accomplished. A lot of times I felt like even though it wasn’t said aloud- I can’t be prejudice see how many black people I have supporting me. As an O’Bama supporter, I am THRILLED that Fox ran this. I think this clip highlights the fact that the Clinton supporters who are threatening to switch over have NO valid reason for doing so. I just would like to say the Hilary has been the sorest of losers; especially by not conceding the night that Barack claimed victory, and keeping her teeth of desperation in Barack’s ankles.
If anyone has been the voice of the Democratic party division it’s been because of the leadership of Hilary Clinton a woman who’s personal career, ambitions, and ego are more important than uniting the party to restore hope to America.
