I agree that blacks & whites are raised differently. Being that I am mixed myself and having an African Amercian father and a Irish (white lol) mother. I have two older siblings from my father’s previous marriage who are full black, and I honestly have to say we were raised totally different. I personally mostly date black men (love em), but have dated a couple of latino and white men. But its just not Black Women who bring up hate towards other races….Its black men and white men too. I always get comments like “thats your white/black side coming out.” “oh, you wouldnt do stuff like that if you were full black/white.” So I believe that hatred towards other races are there no matter what race/gender you are. Most people are never going to see past color. Which is why I get so sad when reading some of these blogs. Will it ever change?

Thanks for all of the insite on this. I myself am black but I am also part of a mixed family. My father married a white woman after my father and I have siblings that are mixed. Growing up I got to see what it was to be raised by both a black parent and a white. So I can speak out of experience (at least I believe so), people are different. People are a byproduct of how they were raised. Honestly blacks & whites are raised differently. I personally almost only date black women, but have experienced asian, hispanic, latino, & white women. All were different, none better than the rest. I dont date due to skin tone or ethnic background but on the basis of how I am treated. None of the other races had such hatred for the others, in fact none brought it up except black women. So, since I am not a woman, I wanted to know why the hate towards other races. These athletes and celebrities that are hated for running to other races and marrying another race are not all black men. Some black men are just searching for love just like the black woman and are still hated on. Most of these men were dating black women first. Not too many men I know hopped out the crib and said I hate black women. I know this is hard to conceive, but did anyone ever think it was their experiences with black women that made them jump ship? You know, the same as the black women that get them a companion of another race.

I am just wondering for all of the people that hate on “swirl” relationships, why no real hate for Garcelle? I notice that there never is no real hate when its the women that are in the “swirl”, but only men. Why is that? Why is there more hatred when a black man is with another race & so little when the black woman dates outside her race?”

Because many of these women are hypocrites, pure and simple. (I’m a Black woman by the way)
