Which White Man Should Obama Pick???

Posted by Bossip Staff

Who Should Obama Pick???

A lot of politicians are trying to get in good with Obama and cop the VP spot on the Democratic ticket. We like Governor Tim Kaine from Virginia who will probably compliment some of Obama’s electability weakness in some of the poorer and ‘whiter’ states. Tim Kaine was also loyally ridin’ with Obama early on. Click here to read up on Governor Kaine.

    hello

    i am first Nucca

  2. Suga Mo

Kaine has done wonder for VA. He is a good choice. But there are other to consider, its too soon. He needs to be smart and take his time…Which I am sure he will do.

  3. Sharpton's perm

if he needs to appeal to poor whites he needs to pick Eminem as his VP

  4. Negrodamus Believes

Negrodamus Believes Tim Kaine needs to protect Hull Street from the increasing influx of day laboring, disease carrying, $1.19 jug of water drinking, every other weekend is someones “Quince”(Sweet 15), no respect for this nation’s law and it’s people, Mexicano’s..

  5. Suga Mo

BOSSIP THAT IS MCCAIN BULLSH*T AD OF THIS WEBSITE!!!! YALL ARE REALLY TRIPN TODAY!

  6. Suga Mo

    LOL @ Sharpton’s perm

  7. Ms Sharmaine

I think Obama should pick John Edwards

He needs a white male that relates to working cl***** white folks. The ones Hi”liar”y Clinton appealed. Edwards can get those folks.

I just hope that Obama doesn’t pick Hillary for VP.

  8. First off, this is the double standard Bossip. You can’t come at Amy W. as a “racist crackhead” then put up a headline “Which White Man…”. You’d be calling Perez Hilton all types of ***** if he came with “Which Black Man should McCain pick”. So chill with that. Especially since Obama is on that post-racial *****.

On topic, my favorite is still Kathleen Seblius.

  9. bree is an OBAMA supporter.. YES WE CAN!

Kaine..hmmm Cain & Abel..he looks evil, like he has a wicked smile..sinister the least

  10. Sindiwe X

kucinich or go home!! obama/kucinish but obama does not have those type of ***** – last night, dude [K] was the only one up at 10:30pm LIVE still drawing up articles of impeachment against bush!! *****, i tell ya!!

  11. I like how Bossip is all Pro Obama but there is a Mkkkain ad right below the post. smh

  12. P

michg as well pick hillary and get as much of the redneck vote as possible, cause he’s going to have some people voting against him for obvious reasons.

  13. whateva!

I’d like to see John Edwards or Joe Biden get the V.P. ticket. I know many will disagree, but Hillary would make a good v.p. She and Obama have many similar views on different policies.

  14. knocked up had a beautiful baby boy

Kaine would be great. I live in Va and he’s been doing a great job and he appeals to the military folks. Probably why they are considering him for VP.

  15. I'm Just Me

Kaine is cool and he repped him well on Fox Sunday News unlike John Kerry on Face the Nation who just laughed at everything like a buffoon. What about John Edwards? I like him too and he endorsed him a minute ago as well.

What I don’t want to see..Obama/Clinton…that is a no go for me.

  16. Gigi

Sugamo-I agree, I also like Webb who is a good old boy with a son in Iraq, I dont think he will run though-too bad

  17. PRTTYBRWNGIRL

John Edwards would be the better choice.

  18. Gigi

I’m Just me-John Edwards said he wont run. If Hilary runs with him that will be weird after she said all that bad stuff about him.

  19. I'm Just Me

    @ Sugar Mo

YEAH I SEE THAT SHYT! THAT IS NO GOOD! BOSSIP TAKE THAT AD DOWN!!

  20. I'm Just Me

    @ Gigi

Oh I didn’t hear that. Well too bad b/c I liked Edwards even when he ran for VP before with Kerry.

  21. PRTTYBRWNGIRL

hillary isnt a good candidate because she would undermind him at every available opportunity. she couldnt even concede when it was evident she lost. he needs a VICE president

  22. LOTTERYPICK

I like the guy out of Florida Robert Wexler.

  23. Gigi

I’m Just Me, yes, I liked him too, I forget his reasons, but I think he would be a good choice

  24. mack

    he should pick hilary

  25. NotoriousOne

Just don’t think that Hillary is in the mind-frame to play a subservient role to Obama. I would have to agree w/ PRTTYBRWNGIRL, Hillary couldn’t even concede her defeat (I believe it was more so party pressure that made her do it in the fashion that she eventually did). Furthermore, she has repeatedly shown that she is not willing to play second fiddle.

  26. whateva!

    Sindiwe X:

I forgot about Kucinich, he’s a very good choice as well. He has Napolean complex, so that explains why he has ***** to impeach Bush.

  27. Shavon Denise

VA STAND UP!!! Hes a great governor, voted for him and he did my commencement address back in 2005. He’s a good guy BUT I still think that he needs to ride with Hillary because he has to get all those votes that she got. Alot of her supporters are bitter at Obama so for him not to choose her will be suicide to me.

  28. I agree with SINDIWE X about Charles Kucinich (from Ohio). This cat has been on his grind since day one. His voting record in congress is more liberal and for the people than Obama himself. Obama would probably be scared to make him a running mate because he is so much against the grain but if Obama is serious about change he would at least consider him. BTW – Check Kucinch’s web site out — he is calling out President Cheney and his faithful little dog Bush on all their B.S.

  29. Sydney

John Edwards was one of my personal favorites for vp, but since it’s being reported that he is not a contender, I’m not so sure that the top pick will be a man. I’m seeing Kathleen Sebelius’ name floated around quite a bit.

    In other news:

Leading Democratic fundraisers predict that Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) will raise hundreds of millions of dollars over the next few months if he opts out of public financing and begins raising money for the general election.

Specifically, they say Obama could raise $100 million in June and could attract 2.5 million to 3 million new donors to his campaign.

  30. Sydney

Just saw this from the AP:

Barack Obama is considering former top military leaders among his possible running mates, according to a senator who met Tuesday with the Democratic presidential candidate’s vice presidential vetting team.

  31. Whateva

I don’t care who he picks as long as Hilary isn’t the one!!!

  32. Chocolate

Obama is brillant minded. Whatever he chooses it will be the right choose

  33. Bubba

No whites! I hate ALL whites!

  34. bria

Bossip so times you all are too divisive. You could have simply said who should Obama pick for his VP. There are ways of saying things and that was just a bad way. But too answer your question Jim Webb.

  35. Ronin

Wasn’t there a story about a guy with a similar name in that book of fairy tales AKA the Bible?

  36. Slim

YES! I’m from VA, Tim Kaine’s been doing a great job here- this would be a good match.

  37. I hate to be the one who brings this up but VP for Obama could be the most important decision he makes based on the fact that he / she would be next in line. Forget that he is a Black man, but the last Prez that tried to “change” government (dismantle the CIA, break away from the World Banking Organization) was **********inated in Texas. Good luck Obama….. but be careful.

  38. innocent bystander

I hadn’t heard that Edwards didn’t want it. It seems that alot of ppl think that if Obama wins, he will be **********inated and therefore the VP would take office. I don’t want just anyone getting that VP seat. So if not Edwards, how about Collin Powell? PERFECT MATCH!

OBAMA ‘08! YES WE CAN, YES WE DID, YES WE WILL!!!

  39. @ innocent bystander

Yeah, I agree that would be the real “dream ticket”. I think I remember Powell addressing running for prez back in 2000 and his wife forbid him from thinking about it due to concerns for his life. He’s been “in the know” long enough for that statement to raise my eyebrows. Look how fast he bolted after Cheney and Co. set him up in front of the U.N. Getting a military man (Powell or otherwise) would at least negate McCain’s self proclaimed “GI Joe, Real American Hero” image.

  40. DJ

Ya know, no one likes a racist. So why is it always in the mix? There will never be peace until this foolishness stops….on BOTH sides of the fence.

    Peace.

  41. Detroiter4Life

I trust Obama’s decision making…..I’m gon roll with who he picks I must admit however I’m NOT at all sold on Hiliary being on the ticket……;p

  42. Jenny G

Um. Obama is half white also. Why does everyone act like he is full black?

  43. @ Jenny G

If you never saw him before and you were interviewing him for a job, what would he be to you? Be honest with yourself.

  44. bobbyiris

Pick William Cohen….he automatically s*****s up any questions about foreign policy as he was SecDef under Clinton….AND……wait for it….his wife is black!!!! two ladies that look like my momma in the white house??? it wont happen but I can dream right?

  45. DR.FUNK

Obama has stumbled badly on foreign policy already.Especially as it relates to dealing with pariah states.(Iran/Syria/Cuba/Venezuela)

I would say appoint a “hawk”.That would signal that he can be trusted not to give photo ops to thug-***** dictators…or for that matter leave Iraq WHILE WE’RE ACTUALLY WINNING AND GOALS ARE BEING MET.That would be a winning strategy for a general election…not kissing the *****es of the RADICAL WHITE LEFT or the VICTICRAT BLACK LEFT.(this includes BOSSIP).Maybe Joe Lieberman…Sam Nunn…Bill Richardson. Why not Colin Powell?

  46. silversurfer

JUST DOWN TO THESE 2: (aka my $.02)

Sam Nunn: Gets Georgia and s*****s up Perceived National Security issues.

Joe Biden: Cancels out John McBush on Experience and National Security Factors.

  47. DR.FUNK

    @ bobbyiris:

Forgot all about Cohen.People have short memories…but there was a time when Clinton WAS OF THE SAME OPINION AS BUSH…that Saddam HAD TO BE REMOVED.Never quite got around to it.Let W take the slings & arrows for actually doing it.

  48. shay

    jim webb

  49. mayjadjor

I’m thinking Webb or Nunn. This may be ignorant, but I think it has to be a man because having a black man and a woman on the same ticket may be a little too much too soon for some people. I also like Richardson, but that’s cuz I’m Latina, but I think that may be too much as well. Anyhow, EVERY Latino I know, including my ENTIRE family is for Obama!! Don’t let the media fool you into thinking we won’t vote for a black man. Our communities have MANY of the same problems and we need proper representation!!

  50. Mo

Excellent choice. I am from VA and even went to the Obama rally in VA Beach. Tim Kaine beleives in this country the way Obama does.

  51. THE ORIGINAL PIMP DADDY

BLACKS DON’T FALL FOR THIS TRAP FROM BOSSIP.WE WANT A MEXICAN VICE PRESIDENT LIKE CHAPPELLE SAID.THEY DON’T WANT THE MEXICANS TO CROSS THE BORDER.***** IN 40 YEARS THERE WILL BE MORE HISPANICS THAN WHITES IN AMERICA SO BLACKS HAVE YOUR FUN NOW.WHEN THEM BEANERS TAKE OVER *****S GONNA HIT THE FAN.SO NUCCAS LEARN SPANISH FLUENTLY.

  52. AZShakur

I agree with those in favor of Joe Bidden, he has the strength and foreign policy experience to quelch any Republican claim. John Edwards is used goods (he lost two presidential bids), Sen. Clinton would not be that bad of a choice if she can actually bring in some of her voters. I don’ thing that Khane has enough national appeal, but he is a strong choice. THerefore Bidden it is

  53. Jenny G

    @Illuminatetruth

he looks biracial, or really high yella. regardless, when ;-) he becomes president, he will be the first bi-racial one. not full out african american. I go for Bill Richardson…

  54. If he wants that presidency…He better put Clinton on the ticket…he doesn’t have a chance otherwise…Once in office he can tell her to sit down, shut up and just do what I tell you to do…

  55. cliff

WHAT THE HELL IS REALLY GOOD WITH THE JOHN MCCAIN ADS ON BOSSIP. IF BOSSIP IS REALLY PRO OBAMA GO TALK TO YOUR AD PROVIDERS AND MAKE SURE NO MCBUSH ADS GET POSTED HERE. REAL TALK!!!!!

@T-BIRD. SHUT THE HELL UP. HE HAD A PLAN TO BEAT HILLARY, HE HAS A PLAN TO BEAT MCCAIN. GIVE THE MAN SOME CREDIT. DUMB ***** BLACK PEOPLE ALWAYS HATIN ON THEIR OWN KIND.
