As I stated previously I never expected much from Obama anyway. How can you have a country that has been effed up and down, backwards and sideways for centuries in the making all of a sudden get fixed at the wave of a wand by a bi-racial man that came almost out of nowhere? Though I live in England, its the same story, Black people usually get the bad end of the stick, however, its about time we stop externalizing the blame and look within ourselves to solve our many deep seated issues both individually and a collective. Education is part of the solution and there are many Black people who are now getting hip to that fact so things are gradually changing.

No politician, black, white or whatever is going to do anything for us. They are largely people who are in the service of a specific group of people. You better know that elections are a fraud.

Had he not bailed those banks out I believe things would have collapsed, not to say that it is not on the Horizon. Obama has been in office for not even a year yet we are supposed to be okay now??? it took years to get us here and it will take years to get us out. no my city has not yet benefited from the stimulus but we also have poor local leadership. and a some who don’t have much to say and a city is only as strong as its people. but it is interesting that you endorse this “Truth” yet you ask me about a Stimulus???? what made you assume that that was the only way that things would be resolved?? i believe in personal responsibility and accountability. i think it is time for us to stand up and start making things happen for ourselves. invest in ourselves. Why did it not strike us as unusual that the Presidential candidate who had half of the qualifications [literally] than his vice presidental running partner get the nod for President? People have been going to the poll ignorant for years voting straight ballads and “ini mini miny moe” at least this time people did have an agenda even if they where voting for the first black candidate elect. More than half of the president elected to the white house have been ill equipped to be president “BUSH” and no one didn’t even know who president Carter was and Clinton was also ill equipped to be president.
