In this Kelis did have something to do with how much he had to pay. She asked for all that money and got it because Nas messed up and it got in the media what he was not going to do. (which was pay her) In this case I’m on Nas’ team because:
1. Nas has a conservative personality (he’s amassed millions of dollars- not bad for a man with an 8th grade education)
2. He got gamed by her because his emotions were involved- influencing his decision to move to California
3. You never hear about Nas at parties or getting into fights or in clubs- he’s low-key.
4. Kelis has a very young, tack head personality- she easily will go through money-
I knew she was full of it when 50 cent told Nas not to marry her. She basically exploited herself to the court system for more money. When Nas came to see his baby in the hospital, she showed out in typical tack head fashion.
5. She lost points with me because she is on tape with another guy.

Nas all the way and I hope he gets better attorneys and ends up getting his order reduced.

The judge must have a thing against rappers. What was this amount based on? Eddie Murphy only pays 6k a month for his daughter with Mel B. and he has way more dough than Nas!
