In the Esquire interview, Bugs Bunny said some interesting things about Jay and the best rapper alive:

Jay-Z is as politically correct as some of the politicians. He’s safe. There’s points when you’re acquiring….. financing, you make adjustments. He’s made those adjustments. It’s his choice. For me, it’s not a necessity.

When you’re safe, people start walking on the stage because they feel safe with you. People don’t walk on the stage at my shows. Air Jordan. Tiger Woods. You know how a person is made for something? Eminem is made for hip-hop. The best rapper is a white man.

There is a difference. 50 cent is just trying everything he can to get Jay-z to respond to him and its never going to happen. Lets take an Em verse from “dead wrong” and put that against any of your favorite has been rapper. Louis Logic? Wise Intelligent? Canibus? Immortal Technique? Clearly the pines must be green & purple if you have this idea.
This isn’t a forum for hip-hop heads anyway so I should NOT be expecting anything of real quality. I come to bossip for the jokes on people who probably shouldn’t be famous.
Not to argue with people about why their favorite rapper isn’t “on the radio”. There are SOME exceptions. Black Thought & The Roots SHOULD be on the radio. WTF Black radio? Cosigned by NBC not by HBC.

Besides the term “best rapper alive” is a RELATIVE term. There is no crown, no WBC, no universal platform for all to show skills. Besides half of the rappers flow is “in the pocket of their pants” so a battle would be futile because the WRONG people would put it together and have some idiots like Copywrite or Coolio entered.
