I comment MC Lyte for here efforts. Tthe Grammy’s are wack anyway, but that aside, each category has about 5 nominees. Can you name 5 worthy female rappers out there right now? And don’t say any “Miss Rap Supreme” people.

I see she didn’t speak on the Remy Ma issue. I guess she feels her sentence was deserved. I feel what she is doing though. I hope ths will encourage the females Emcees out there to step their game up. I had never noticed the sexism in the legal system regarding male and female hip hop artists but she definitely pulled my coattails to that. I didn’t even realize MC Lyte was really doing anything in or around hip hop so I am very excited to hear about this! Kudos to her.

First off Bossip, I don’t know where you get off *****uming MC Lyte is Gay? For one, she is a honorary Soror of my organization, and I will not stand for such disrespect. The grammys are whack. The winner’s are always Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige & Arrogant ***** Kanye West. I mean don’t get me wrong all of them have beautiful material but their ***** isn’t worth Grammy’s all the damn time. To me other people have valid work and no one takes notice. Honorable mention to Syleena Johnson that sister can sing her ***** of and her 3rd album was FIRE!! As far as female rappers go, it doesn’t have to be someone in the lime lite. The grammy’s are so supposed to be about the depth of your work, not the depth of your record company pockets.
