Before MTO’s statement about the “R&B singer” being the cause, there was a statement put out by the couple which didn’t say anything negative along with it. Someone wanted the “real” story to come out.

I’m just realizing this as I type. In the Hip Hop Weekly article, Swizz Beatz makes a statement in response to Mashonda’s. He says something along the lines of “wanting everyone to get along.” These are SWIZZ’ statements. There is unequivocally NO denial of Mashonda’s statements. How in the hell could I forget this? My magazine is on my dining room table and last I looked at it was Tuesday.

Alicia has had plenty of time to release a statement about this rumor, lets not forget it started back in April. um just because she hasn’t put out a statement doesn’t make it false so therefore, you don’t KNOW that it’s fake. you are ASSUMING and maybe HOPING it’s false but you don’t know unless you are one the three parties involved. this rumor may have started in april but NOBODY paid attention to it except for two blogs so she didn’t care. now that it’s resurfaced and getting more attention due to an alleged interview with this lady, she needs to clear it up. the other rumors back in april had no “interview” and “confirmation” to go with it, this seems to have one, which may or may not fake. if she didn’t do it and moshanda didn’t say any of this, all three of them need to say its false and move on. it’s simple. a lot of people believe this magazines (although they know its pure trash and will continue to spread the rumor) and if all three parties keep their mouths shut, it makes the story seem more plausibe

no, a lot of blogs didn’t pick up the story back in April and true enough the only reason why we are even talking about this is because MTO the main blog on the internet bought it back up with a statement from hip hop weekly out of all the sites to believe statements from.

My thing is this, a real woman would never screw a married man. Again, if Hip Hop Weekly has made up all of this, there should be a big uproar just as there was when the Jay-Z/Baby Momma story broke. If you remember from that, the “Baby Momma” did do interviews and it was revealed that SHE, in fact, was making the story up and not that Hip Hop Weekly fabricated her statements.

Sometimes people give interviews to lowly magazines like that because the larger, more reputable, ones don’t want to hear their story. Face it! Alicia is a media darling. She is on the cover of Essence this month. Mashonda is not your superstar in this equation. Why would they want to hear the scorned wife’s account of how their media darling isn’t exactly so angelic?

In either case, if it was the National Enquirer or another gossip rag, an interview is an interview. None of these magazines can fabricate an individual’s responses without the threat of a lawsuit.
