i agree w/ oprah. jamie was of a higher calibur. when i heard the foxxhole show & how vulgar they ALL were i was turned off. nothing wrong entertaining & having fun. BUT…can we have some limits? the things you do & say come back whether you want them to or not. i think back to the special he was on, i believe oprah was the host. jamie had a one on one converstation w/ sydney portier. jamie was so humble, excited to meet a person of such class. fast forward he is holding people’s breasts & a@#!!! we will never come up as a people if we can’t even conduct ourselves with a little class.

Jamie Foxx is an adult. He can do whatever he pleases as long as it is within the law. The only reason Oprah even made a comment to Jamie about this is becuase she really likes him. I don’t know if anyone remembers when he was on her show back in 2006 when he was promoting his new album how he wooed Oprah. He was very pleasant towards her; gave her a really nice oil painting of herself; and song a couple of songs for her. She just likes him and don’t know how to express her feelings to him. Why else would she care about what Jamie does.

Clearly, Jamie is insecure otherwise, being an award winning, talented and wealthy singer/actor would be enough for him. I think he sees himself as the guy with the jheri curl in that picture always trying to prove that he can get the hot chick, the choice role, the mega-star friend and mentor. Unfortunately, acquiring those things don’t change who you are on the inside. We’re seeing precisely who he is. Oprah doesn’t really know Jamie. If she did, his behavior would not surprise her. She just wants him to put on a good face for the community. I doubt even if she were “friends” with Jamie, he’d listen to her anyway. I’ve worked with him before and found him to be generally rude and disrespectful. I get the sense that someone broke his heart years ago and he’s making every woman he meets pay for it.

As for the ladies, they too are insecure. You don’t have to trade in on you looks and have sex with celebrities to prove that you’re an amazing woman. I’ve worked with Shelly and Dollicia. I think they are just terribly misguided. They don’t have a sense of self and are fiercely competitive. They came to LA to make it big but put their trust in men who took advantage of them. That doesn’t mean they aren’t accountable and responsible for their actions but the girls in music videos in particular are treated horribly and the ones that don’t have a good head on their shoulders get used and abused.

I agree with Oprah’s comment as well. I do not think she is jealous of the video girl, I think she is very much so disappointed in Jamie. He can do better and can be better, but refuses too.
